Kin'iro: I am Kin'iro, the new transfer student and knight in training.

The Dragon Prince Chronicles are a series of ebooks written by user Akaira.

The series begins with the arrival Kin'iro Kishi Hasai, a transfer student from the northern region of Aselian training to become the next Dragon Knight. However this may be problematic due to the fact that his real name is Shikiro Okami Shinsei, the youngest heir to the royal family of dragons. And let's just say that humans and dragons aren't the best of friends. Now he has to learn to become one of the most powerful of warriors all while trying not to compromise his true identity.

This book series provides examples of:

  • Big Eater: Kin'iro has these moments though they're mostly played for laughs.
  • Calling Your Attacks: Like any Henshin Hero before him, Shikiro likes this trope. A lot!
  • Deadpan Snarker: Courrie gets her fair share of this before getting her ass kicked by a freshman in her class. And she's the teacher!
  • Find the Cure!: In one of the later chapters, Amy falls to what seems to be a fever. In truth, she catches a bad case of mana poisoning caused by Shikiro's constant tranformations.
  • Henshin Hero
  • Meaningful Name: Kin'iro Kishi Hasai means Golden Knight of Flame in Japanese.
  • Oblivious to Love: Played straight with Kin'iro in the beginning
  • Our Dragons Are Different: Dragons in this universe evolve into a more human like form. They can, however revert back to their primal draconian nature should a female tear land on their skin.

  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Every time Kin'iro transforms his eyes shift from gold to red.
