has been making Let's Play videos for Youtube since January 2009. She has done Let's Plays for a variety of different types of games, including old Sierra adventure games, handheld Zelda games, LEGO Adaptation games, and more traditional JRPGs.
Her LPs range from gameplay walkthroughs, to blind playthroughs, to general silliness. Her commentary style blends a sweet and friendly delivery with calling out the game for its flawed logic and cursing at thing that go wrong.

- 100% Completion: Tries to be as thorough as possible at completing every quest and getting every treasure, spell, ending, etc.
- Berserk Button: Broken video game logic, including but not limited to characters acting incompetent for the sake of the plot. Badly designed game mechanics are up there as well.
- Big "NO!": A few times when failure is eminent.
- Big "YES!": In Oracle of Seasons, after getting a Heart Piece in her first encounter with Maple, complete with Atomic F-Bomb.

Bonus Material: Her LP for Pokemon Blue features a bonus episode for outtakes, Chrono Trigger has them for alternate endings, and Final Fantasy IV: The After Years has them to show all the different character dialogue for the final tale. - Calling Your Bathroom Breaks: Episode 8 of Kings Quest III ends early with Takarifreak and Lucahjin declaring a mutual pee break

- Colbert Bump: Somehow averted. Despite having collaborated with Lucahjin (multiple times) and NintendoCapriSun, and being Real Life friends with other big Youtube Let's Players, her viewer base is substantially smaller in comparison.
- Cluster F-Bomb: Usually following some kind of screw-up, by herself or one of the characters.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: She defeated the Mist Dragon in Final Fantasy IV (in a blind run, no less) before it had a chance to turn to mist and become invincible.
- Cute Kitten: Her avatar is a Pokeball with cat-ears and whiskers.
- Cuteness Proximity: In Chrono Trigger, she goes out her way to talk to Alfador at every chance, including chasing him around the Earthbound Village during the post-Zeal events.
- Easter Egg: In a Zelda 1 VS race, she hacked her ROM so that the [[Mook Moblin]] who gives away rupees says "It's a Secret to Everypony"
- Epic Fail: Usually left in for comedic effect
- In Final Fantasy V, while trying to escape from Karnack Castle, she reaches the exit with 10 seconds left, only to get into a random encounter before making it to safety.
- Lost the one-on-one Frog vs Magus battle.

Fridge Logic: Often averted. She usually notices things that would be considered Fridge Logic at the time it happens and calls the game out for not making sense then and there. - Funny Background Event: Her cat often decides to either misbehave or act cute during recording sessions.
- Good Bad Bug: Her Pokemon Blue LP is a glitch run.
- Gamer Chick: One of many female Lets Players
- Gasshole: Nowhere near the level of NintendoCapriSun, but she has been known to let off belch now and then.
- Genre Savvy: During her blind LPs of Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy V, she has repeatedly predicted plot twists and story outcomes with uncanny accuracy.
- Heroic BSoD: She suffers one in her blind LP of Final Fantasy IV when it's revealed that Golbez is Cecil's brother
- Hilarious Outtakes: In a bonus episode for Pokemon Blue, an attempt to pull off the long-range trainer glitch goes awry, ultimately crashing the game.
- Kind Hearted Cat Lover: She's talked about her cat, and how she loves cats in general.
- In her Zelda LPs, she gives Link the name CATS
- Lady Swears-a-lot: In older videos, it was rampant. More recently, she's taken to softening it ever so slightly and even censoring the audio.
- Let's Play: Duh!
- Not That There's Anything Wrong with That: Used in King's Quest III after making fun of the evil wizard for having a flamboyantly purple bedroom, complete with hidden hand-mirror.
- Portmanteau Couple Name: Her username is a reference to the Takeru/Hikari pairing in Digimon.
- Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: In her Final Fantasy IV LP, she constantly defends Edward against the usual criticisms.
- Running Gag: In her Pokemon Blue LP, every Pokemon she caught was named Pikachu.
- Self-Deprecation: Not afraid to insult herself for messing up. She will occasionally laugh at herself too, though.
- Set Right What Once Went Wrong: During blind LPs, if someone dies during a boss fight, or she misses a treasure, she will go back and re-do areas off-screen between episodes to get items or EXP.
- Shown Their Work: She will take the time to explain complex gameplay mechanics when they become relevant, as well as stopping to present or explain certain theories during blind LPs.
- She made a special demonstration video for farming Maple in Oracle of Seasons
- She wrote an essay on character analysis for Final Fantasy IV
- Sound-Effect Bleep: Uses a sword-slash sound effect to censor herself in Final Fantasy IV
- Special Guest: Has had Lucahjin guest on many LPs, and hosted a 4-way VS Race for Zelda 1 with NintendoCapriSun, PurpleRodri and ArgonMatrix
- The Faceless: Somewhat, anyway. She has never been on camera for her own videos, but has appeared in other people's videos.
- The Nicknamer: Has taken to giving nicknames to many characters in recent LPs, ranging from Punny Names to Meaningful Names
- Many in Final Fantasy V alone, Bartz is Seymour, Lenna is Pinky, Galuf is Gary Stu, & Krile is Bubbles, among others.
- In Final Fantasy IV, she called Cagnazzo, Barbariccia, and Rubicante "Cat-butt face", "Rapunzel Barbie", and "Ruby Tuesday", respectively. FuSoYa earned the name Sarumon. The dwarves were called Viking Lawn Gnomes and King Giott himself was "Viking Santa".
- Toilet Humor: While not as much as some other LPers, it's there in small doses.
