A group of four 12 year old children are mistaken for elite soldiers by two bumbling alien warriors and in the process are given powerful orbs that they must use to fight a destructive pathogen that turns anyone into rampaging monsters. They must also balance this with their school lives, have the alien warriors tutor them to get stronger, and find and defeat the people responsible for creating the pathogen.
