- Almost Kiss: Between Niko and Eve, in a very unsettling way.
- Armor-Piercing Question: Niko drops one to Eve before he leaves her.Eve: But don't leave me alone!Niko: But you're not alone, are you?
- Bathroom Search Excuse: When undercover as Billie, Villanelle asks to go to the bathroom so she can snoop around the Peele house. When Aaron busts her, he expects her to claim to have gotten lost, but instead Billie/Villanelle immediately owns up to being nosey, which surprisingly endears her to him.
- Fan Disservice: Niko and Eve have sex but this time it is much more aggressive and frightening on Niko's part.
- For the Evulz: Villanelle breaks into Eve's house and looks around. She puts Eve's toothbrush in her mouth and switches CD cases. She hides an envelope and hides half of a banana.
- In Love with Your Carnage: Niko accuses Eve of being this when he forces himself on her. The amorous look on Eve's face as she crawls to their bedroom submissively for him proves him right.

- Nightmare Fetishist: Niko accuses Eve of being like this and forces her to have sex with him to exploit this trope.Niko: What do you want from me, Eve? Do you want me to love you or do you want me to frighten you?
- "Not If They Enjoyed It" Rationalization: Type 3 example. Niko's guilt after having forceful sex with Eve the night before and having enjoyed it. Eve feels happy and satisfied from it but Niko feels guilty.
- The Peeping Tom: Villanelle spies on Eve and Niko through the window while they go up to their bedroom.
- Poor Communication Kills: Niko and Eve's marriage falls apart due to Eve not telling Niko everything about the Paris incident.
