Vision's Mania Pack! is a fictional compilation of PlayStation games by Vision Home Entertainment released exclusively in North America despite the company operating in Indonesia.

The first volume of these compilations was released on July 23rd of 1999, with a second one being released later on March 24th of 2000 which started a journey of more to come.

These game compilations come with DOS games, & demos to choose from, with the first 2 having 30 games with the volumes after that bumping it up to 40 games.

    Trivia
  • Cash-Cow Franchise: Vision Home Entertainment really wanted this to become one, but sadly couldn't. No, it wasn't due to lawsuits(see below).
  • Creator's Oddball: These compilation discs are the only games this company has released, & in fact the only things they released in the United States. Just let that sink in for a moment....
  • Cut Song: Volume 1 would've had a different tune for the game selection screen, but it was according to one of the programmers, "so bad that it was a disgrace that it even exists".
  • Executive Meddling: Executives decided to make them bump the number of games up to 40 after Volume 2 was released.
  • Fandom Nod: Blocks From Hell has its description be a reference to the fact that one of the compilations' fans, Bill Tryont, was also a fan of Videogame/Tetris.
    • Robo-Wars(the Alan game, not the Sherwood Forest one) from volume 4 has its description be a reference to a joke about the fanbase loving robots.
  • Follow the Leader: This was made to cash in on multicarts that were filled with games on them, only this time on the PS1 using a custom-made DOS emulators. They even blatantly steal backgrounds from several ones on PCs.
  • Genre-Killer: The genre of this on console pretty much almost died at that point, though it would eventually rise back up in popularity 3 years after the series ended.
  • Killer App: Or at least Vision wanted it to be one, but it ultimately never became one.
  • No Export for You: Despite these compilations being developed in the Philippines by Filipino company Starchaser Entertainment, & being published by Indonesian company Vision Home Entertainment, they only saw releases in the United Statesnote .
  • No Port For You: They were all released exclusively for the original Platform/Playstation, which while was fine for the first 3 volumes, isn't for the ones later on as by that time, it was rather late in its life span, especially since they kept being released all the way to 2005.
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: Octolris, the last game on Volume 2 was given by a fan who's name they sadly don't remembernote . Volume 3 had Adam '99 given by Jake Lanbarck, Negative given by Kevin C. Ralmar, Funball given by Alex Varley, & HH-HH.COM given by Chris Charbo.
  • Old Shame: Vision Home Entertainment's website no longer mentions these compilation discs due to them simply having no interest in re-releasing them. Starchaser Entertainment has a bigger case of this. Not only do they not mention it on their site, but they absolutely they said to never do something like that ever again as that's the kind of stuff they hate.
  • Pop-Culture Urban Legends: People believe that it didn't sell well, nor were ever re-released due to lawsuits for copyright infringement that forced Vision to stop making them. In reality, it was due to the fact that the genre was shortening in popularity.
  • Pre-Order Bonus: If you were to buy Volume 3 the day it was released, you would've gotten a special note to win an RC car with Vision Home Entertainment branding on it.
  • Streisand Effect: The person that made Gobman tried to make them stop selling Volume 2 due to him not wanting anyone to know that it even exists. Vision didn't stop however. He tried to force Vision to stop, but he wasn't as big as them. This led to people buying Volume 2 just to see what Gobman was.
  • Throw It In!: The original description for Pako said thisnote . Vision thought it was absolutely hilarious, & left that in.
  • Vindicated by Reruns: These compilation discs became the reason why these DOS games, & demos have became more known than before.
