Cosplay Fan Art / Image Links

This is a Sub-Trope of, well, Fan Art, where the artists draws established characters dressing up as other established characters.

Note that this is extremely common, and some image sites and Image Boards can have hundreds or thousands of pictures. Although searching isn't always reliable, given pictures can be tagged for things they don't fit, especially dirty pictures, which are not a good idea to link to on this site, even indirectly (it's not prudishness; it's about not setting off content filters).

We humbly suggest you reserve examples to these conditions. You don't have to, but it's a way to keep examples from getting out of hand, and to avoid links that are Not Safe for Work.

Know who the characters are.
Know who they are dressed as.
Provide a link, because of course some of us would want to see this.
If the link requires dragging and dropping, please let us know.

Halloween Cosplay is actually a Sub-Trope of this, because that is of course just for Halloween. Webcomic authors will also sometimes utilize this for Filler Strips, which qualifies if it's a Guest Strip, but it often isn't.

America dressing up as Captain America is◊ quite◊ common◊. To a lesser extent, England as◊ Captain Britain and Canada as◊ Wolverine or even◊ Spider-Man is pretty popular too.

Food

M&M's loves to use this trope in tie-in packaging, notably the M-pire campaign. Another tie-in involved Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, so they had Red, Yellow, and Blue dressed as an Autobot and a Decepticon each, while Orange dressed as both Mudflap and Skids ("At least we're not identical."). Green was not involved with the campaign, so we don't get to see her as Arcee.

Webcomics

In late October 2008, Dasien and her friend Parker dressed as the Black Canary and Zatanna Zatara. In late October 2014, the image was reposted to the new Dasien site.
The M9 Girls! cast dressed-up as the cast from Doodling Around, with the college M9 Girls sporting high school uniforms, for a Halloween crossover event.
- For the same event, the female cast of Vatican Assassins donned the M9 Girls' super-heroine costumes.
Skin Deep had a Halloween Story where the four main characters were in costume. Jim as Spike Spiegel, Greg as Vincent Valentine, Merial as Raoul Duke, and Michelle as The Riddler.
For some reason, Miko Miyazaki from The Order of the Stick gets this treatment a lot. There's one of her dressed as a miko (shrine maiden) here, and the sadly now defunct Fanservice thread at the Giant in the Playground forums has her and Sangwaan in naughty nurse and sexy firefighter costumes, her and Roy in togas, and that's just the first page.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game Gusto Fan Comic has Kamui dressed up as Summoned Skull, Musto dressed up as Mystic Tomato, Windaar dressed up as TG Warwolf, Reeze dressed up as Vampire Lord, Caam wore the Mask of the Accursed and wielded the Axe of Despair, and Wynnda dressed up as Dark Magician Girl.
For Halloween 2014, the creator of Aptitude Test dressed Julie and Rina as characters from Persona.
