Considering how the main sensate group is half male/half female and the group can experience each other's emotions and feelings, including sexual pleasure/desire, this was unavoidable from the beginning. Add to that the various canonical homosexual characters - some Sensate, some not - and homoeroticism is a Foregone Conclusion.
The 8 within the Cluster
- In episode 6, the orgy scene between half of the cluster is a blinding example of the homoeroticism inherent in clusters.
- The Christmas special upped the ante with ALL of the cluster engaging in a psychic orgy on their shared birthday.
- The series finale tops all of that by having all the clusters plus their significant others in an orgy.
Outside of the Cluster
- Nomi/Amanita and Lito/Hernando are canon LGBT relationships.
- Wolfgang's friendship - and most important relationship in his life before he connects with his cluster - with Felix Bernner borders on Heterosexual Life-Partners. The two guys knew each other since childhood and have always had each other's backs come hell or high water.
- It is, in fact, this relationship that finally motivates Wolfgang to kill the rest of his family when Felix's life is threatened by his cousin.
- Will and his partner Diego are fairly close. Diego even complements Will on his physique.
- According to Word of God (ie Lana Wachowski), all Sensates are inherently pansexual.
- Wolfgang experiences Kala's perspective when Rajan kisses her, and then flashes a satisfied smile.
