  • The video "We Used to be Drug Dealers" has Ethan and Hila recount a story of when they first moved in and were in danger of becoming homeless. Essentially, after Hila finished her mandatory military service, she went over to the US to be with Ethan. The two of them, only having a combined less than $2000 dollars and struggling to find jobs, slowly become more depressed about their situation (unable to afford rent and barely able to afford food), to the point where Hila even considered going back to Israel. They were so tight on money, that when a friend of theirs offered to help them become marijuana dealers, they accepted simply because they wanted to stay together. While they didn't actually end up selling much of it, 2 weeks after their dealer careers started, they finally managed to find stable income, enough for the both of them to both live off of and stay together. At the end, Ethan makes a speech about how, because of everything that him and Hila have been through, he believes in true love. And it was a Valentine's Day video.
    • At one point, Ethan nonchalantly declares Hila to be the love of his life.
    • The drug dealer friend also deserves a mention. According to Ethan, this guy invests a lot of money to give the two the job. Illegal as it may be, seeing the trust this criminal has in two random friends is heartwarming.
  • Just about all of the "Ethan and Hila" side channel could be seen as this. A Happily Married couple laughing, joking and having a good time as they watch ridiculous internet videos? What could possibly be more heartwarming than that?
  • When Ethan and Hila were facing a lawsuit from Matt "Bold Guy" Hoss, YouTuber Philip DeFranco started a gofundme for their legal defense (which would have cost $100,000). Not only did it manage to break its goal in 21 hours, but big-name creators such as The Fine Brothers, LeafyIsHere and Cr1TiKaL (the former two Ethan and Hila even mocked) came together, pitching in for their defense. It's touching to see YouTubers big and small put aside their differences to protect one of their own and support Fair Use.
    • And the ultimate crowner on this moment, the lawsuit has since been decided in Ethan and Hila's favor.
  • In the Goodbye New York video, it's revealed that when they moved to New York, JonTron gave Hila a producing job when they had trouble supporting themselves.
