Season 1

    Birth of Rush Duel Arc 
Episode 1: "Let's Go! Rush Duel!"
  • Yuga reveals the entire purpose behind his new "Rush Duel" format is that he felt dueling has become stagnant, so he wanted people to once again enjoy dueling once more.

Episode 3: "Romin's Secret"

  • Romin recalling the story as to how she got her Prima Guitara card and how she sees it as her good luck charm. It's quite adorable.

Episode 4: "Goodbye, Student Council President!"

  • After seeing how overwhelmed Gakuto was with all his duties, Yuga gives Kaizo a stamping function, so he can get his paperwork done and have time for other jobs and continue to hang out with them.

Episode 8: "Post-Apocalypse and Neapolitan Spaghetti"

  • After Mimi sees how happy Rush Duels make her son, Yoshio, despite her misgivings about it, she lets him continue playing... and then makes his favorite dinner of Neapolitan Pasta.

Episode 10: "A Terrifying Ghost Story Duel"

  • The Duel-Guitar Yuga was shown to possess in the last episode that had him excitedly tinkering with the object at the start was given to Romin as a gift simply because she showed interest in it.

Episode 11: "No More Holding Back"

  • Though completely off the mark, Gakuto's clear desire to help out Romin with her problems showcases how close the four had gotten.
    • Romin during their duel remembering the various shenanigans the four of them partook together shows her own love of her friends... until the Meat-O-Vision kicks in anyhow.
  • When Romin reveals she was a spy, Yuga doesn't hold it again her and immediately realizes that she is being blackmailed by Roa.

Episode 12: "The Forbidden Ace"

  • In spite of being blackmailed, Romin pleads with Yuga to not duel, knowing Roa's machinations will simply give him an unfair advantage and would rather have Yuga's "Rush Duel" be safe in his hands.
  • Upon Roa revealing that Sevens Road Magician is an illegal card, all of Yuga's friends refuse to abandon him, and go off to find proof of their friend's innocence.
    • Mimi quickly moves to defend Yuga despite her position as one of the Tops of Hexagon, feeling that despite her love for the band Roa is targeting Yuga unjustly.

    Maximum Arc 
Episode 14: "Romin's Kitchen"
  • Upon spotting Romin acting fearful of Luke's reaction, Yuga gives her a push knowing the two will patch things up.

Episode 19: "The One Who Is A Throne"

  • When Sebastian mocks Kaizo and calls him a piece of junk, the gang defend him and say he is their friend.
  • Sebastian uses a card Gate of Thrones to ensnare Kaizo and trap him among numerous holographic copies of him. Yuga is able to guess which Kaizo is the real one showing how deep their bond is.
  • Nail telling Sebastian that he doesn't intend to replace him in spite of his loss to Yuga. Hearing this brings the robotic massage chair to tears.

Episode 24: "Resolve"

  • Luke confidentially goes off to find out about "Maximum Summon" without even considering the possibility of Yuga losing the will to fight.
  • When faced with the prospect of being one step away from being banned, all three of Luke, Gakuto, and Romin charge into the duel against Otes without question just so Yuga may have a hint as to combat "Maximum Summon".
  • It is revealed after the duel, Romin, Gakuto and Luke all gathered their resolves from their desire to help Yuga after he helped them on multiple occasions.
  • Despite the aggression, Roa's Get A Hold Of Yourself Man moment showcases how much he's come to accept Yuga as his rival and as the heir to Otes.
  • After spending the whole episode depressed after losing to Nail, Yuga finally snaps out of it thanks to help from his friends and Roa.

Episode 26: "Maximum Duel"

  • Witnessing Yuga's determination in his duel against Nail, other members of Goah Elementary start declaring themselves part of Yuga's group. Even after they see the penalties appearing and learn the stakes involved, 77.7% of Goha Elementary sides with Yuga.

    Goha 6th Elementary Arc 

Episode 27: "Birth of the Luke Club"

  • Romin joins the main trio in the ending, cementing her status as part of the team.

Episode 34: “The Shiatsu-Nether Empire Strikes Back!”

  • Despite their rivalry, Kaizo still points out a cave for him and Sebastian to shelter in when it starts raining.
  • Mixed with Tear Jerker, Sebastian’s Heroic Sacrifice so Kaizo can get to Neiru.
    • On the other side, Kaizo’s belief that Sebastian can win against Chikako.

Episode 35: "Sound! Gohanium"

  • After Nail and Kaizo's discussion, Kaizo found Sebastian's inert body and laid a flower for his fallen friend.
  • The Newspaper Club, Post-Apocalyptic Club, and later Haruka all come together to defend Yuga's Road Laboratory. Even though Yoshio's group is quickly dispatched of, the Newspaper Club faced down Goha 6th's track about to run him over.
  • Galient stopping Zomyoji from destroying the Road Laboratory after the latter's loss to Tiger. Not only does he reveal Asana did not have any involvement much to Haruka's respect, but respect Zomyoji for wanting to support their Great One.
  • Zomyoji patching the hole he caused in the lab before leaving with Galient.
  • Despite how Haruka treats him, she still shows concern for both her brother and Yuga's safety after the duel, hoping they return.

Episode 36: "Enlightenment ♡ Ranze Eyes"

  • When Galient collapses in exhaustion, Ranze immediately rushes to catch him and even Chevelle cries out for his safety.
  • Rinnosuke's ultimate goal throughout the duel, while to call out his sister's "eccentric" thoughts, ultimately wants to bring her back down to normal before the rest can find out her secrets. When the duel ends, all he tells his older twin is that no matter whatever embarrassing situation she finds herself in, he'll always be there for her.

Episode 37: "Crookluke"

  • Luke gets locked in a mental labyrinth of anxiety thanks to Chevelle and Dove-rap's traps overwhelming him turn after turn and shuts down. However, in a similar manner to Chevelle tricking Luke into thinking it was all a dream, Yuga arrives to try to cheer him up in the same cardboard animation. As Luke rejects continuing the duel, seeing his efforts as a losing Foregone Conclusion to defeat, Yuga points out he can handle the duel if he treats them as exciting, but gets Luke to remember his goal of being the King of Duels. When Luke breaks free, even Romin and Gakuto admit they were calling out for him the whole time and just want him to continue.
  • Schwer saving Dove-rap from getting knocked out after losing the duel, even hurting himself in the process despite having a falling out near the end.

Episode 38: "Unearth Maximum!"

  • Neil found Sebastian off-screen and has begun the process of rebuilding him.
  • The reason Asana let Yuga get away with most of his shenanigans? She wanted him to duel with and use a Maximum so they could have a fair duel after she overwhelmed him the last time.
  • Neil surprisingly allowed Yuga to borrow his Yggdrago. Naturally, Yuga ultimately refused for the sake of his own Maximum, but the thought counts.

Episode 39: "Bring it Back! Mutsuba's Pride!"

  • After the end of the duel Asana's R6 gets destroyed. She explains that due to tradition and the lack of old parts, she never could have properly maintained it. Yuga then finds Mutsuba's old research lab which Asana's great-grandfather worked at. They find the world's first heavy machinery Duel Disk prototype. Asana sees that it was built and maintained with modified parts. This leads to her accept that modifications and Rush Duels aren't something to be stopped. Then Yuga gets to fix all of Heavy Cavalry Duel Club's machines to the joy of everyone.

    Team Battle Royal Arc 

Episode 43: "Opening! The Team Battle Royal!"

  • A subtle moment where Asana asks to have Hatrap fill in for her on the team when she was unavailable, showing she considers him to be just as much a part of the Machine Calvary Club as the other members.
  • Galiant and Chevelle wholeheartedly accepting Yuga into their team after he decides to compete.

Episode 48: "Clash of Secret Techniques"

  • Asana and Haruka's backstory of how they became Childhood Friends and subsequently making up at the end of their duel.
  • Asana and Chevelle's backstory. When she was out in the snow looking for Luke, she found Chevelle and Doverap buried under the snow, and rushed them to the hospital, taking care of them (after making sure that Luke had been found and was ok). There is a reason the Sixth elementary is so loyal to Asana.

Episode 49: "Roa Romin"

  • Roa Romin reunites in the duel, with Getta and Ushiro reconciling with Roa to become his backup, signaled by him summoning the aces that represent them and reviving Death Doom together.

Season 2

    Goha 6 Siblings Arc 
Episode 53: Let's Go! Rush Gulu!
  • Despite being as Drunk with Power as you can expect, Luke shows some since growth. Once he meets Guruguru, he gives him some sincere encouragement and actually good advice, helping him overcome his anxiety and win his first duel. This leads Guruguru to ask him to join the Rush Duel Club. It's later stated that Luke is likely to see his shy, younger self in Guruguru.
  • Guruguru guarding Luke when he hides in his Corner of Woe after the "Luke Man" comic becomes known.

Episode 65: Solitary​ Providence

  • The members of the Heavy Cavalry Duel Club offer Asana their ID cards, so that she can use them to unlock Maximum summon. She turns them down, however, and instead asks to borrow their ace monsters as proof of their bond.
  • Nail chastizes Asana for putting in her deck three cards that clash with her archetype for such a reason, and asks about her pride. She promptly retorts that she is willing to toss away something as meaningless as pride, if it's for her companions' sake.
  • The duel against Asana causes Nail to realize how alone he is, quitting Goha as a result. However, Sebastian, who was under the control of Yuo's presidential override, follows him, fighting against his program all the way, and tells Nail that he isn't alone.

    Goha Employee Arc 
Episode 68: The Melancholy of Yuo
  • Despite everything Yuo did to his siblings, they still prepare a surprise birthday party for him. While Romin and Gakuto talks to him about his troubles and help him get along with them. The party starts with reenacting The☆Beauty Romin's kidnapping and letting Yuo hit them to let out his stress and be the hero. It is enough to trigger his Heel Realization and join them in their Heel–Face Turn.
  • The Goha Siblings apparently took the time to re-promote Mimi to working in Goha HQ again after her demotion to library staff.

Episode 77: Swirly Revival

  • The Goha Siblings are disappointed that Yuga isn't actually the Sixth Sibling, since they thought it would be nice. Which makes it sadder when the real Yuga Goha is revealed to be a brutal and sadistic psychopath that they sealed away.

    Final Arc 

Episode 83: Journey's Companions

  • Gakuto, Asana, and Nail's memories are returned with the help of Ranze and Rinnosuke, the Machine Cavalry Club, and Sebastian, joyfully reuniting with Yuga. The Machine Cavalry Club even use their Duel ID cards so Galient can bring out Asana's Maximum monster again.
  • There is something nice in seeing that the great deed that was the beginning of the Sogetsu family was not battle-related like a heroic sacrifice or a great strategic turn-around, but finding a way to bring smiles and reach a peaceful resolution.

Episode 86: The Kirishima Affair

  • After Luke previously shunned Romin for being a spy, now he is the strongest voice to advocate returning her memories, since the others don't want to ruin her solo debut. He even takes her duel guitar with him.
  • After saving the Newspaper Club, Luke went around and restored the memories of the secondary cast, and shows up to stop the fight at Romin's debut, which restores her memories.
  • Romin doesn't get her memories back through a duel: seeing Luke and the others there for her is enough.

Episode 92: King of Duels

  • What makes Yuuga finally earn the title? Not his duel prowess, despite him finally defeating Luke, he is acknowledged as such as he takes everyone hopes on his shoulders and puts his life on the line to protect duels. It's not strength that earns him the title, but his ability to lead others to a new future and willingness to protect them.
  • Gakuto breaking speed limits and bike regulations so that the main group will reach Yuuga as soon as possible once he returns and proves he didn't actually die against Otes.
