Heartwarming / You, Me and the Apocalypse

• Gaines arranging a meeting between Rhonda and her husband. She crossed half the country as a fugitive only to be arrested upon reaching him. She was only captured because her brother and Gaines' lover sold her out - to launch the Savior spacecraft.
• Scotty bails on Gaines at the worst possible moment in order to help his sister, effectively choosing her over him. On top of that, Scotty's thoughtless mistake forces Gaines to break them off for the sake of the mission. Even feeling abandoned by Scotty, Gaines still decides to protect Scotty from the law, and pack out himself instead of evicting Scotty.
