Heartwarming / Whispered Words

• Sumika does this on a regular basis, but Chapter 17 is definitely the crowner.
• Chapter 19 has several heartwarming moments for Tomoe and Miyako, showing how genuine, pure, and unshakable their love is.
• Chapter 21 brings us Sumika's thoughts on her Missing Mom, of whom she has very fleeting memories. For all the angst and problems she has with being not cute, she doesn't regret being born a girl because her mother was happy to finally have a daughter. D'aaawwww...
• And then in Chapter 24, you get to see the exact moment when Sumika completely comes to terms with both her sexuality and Ushio's. With so many stories running on Gayngst, it's nice to see such an easy acceptance, to the point where her realization causes Sumika to be downright giddy for the rest of the chapter.
  Sumika: I should know better than anyone that Kazuma is a normal human being.
  • Pretty much all the chapters leading up to the finale, including the final chapter itself.

• In the second to last chapter, after Kiyori is finally told about Sumika and Ushio's relationship, she helps spread the word to the embarrassment of Sumika. Afterwards she planned their final time alone in the classroom. After drawing a caricature of them holding hands on the chalkboard, she opened up her curry bread and tapped it onto the hands before leaving to hide, signifying her blessing.
