Heartwarming / Warped!

Go To

Warped! might be a chaotic show, but despite that, it's surprisingly heartwarming.

Pilot!

  • This scene sums up why Ruby moved to another city:
Ruby: "Back home, I never really felt like I fit in. Moving here was a chance to start over. At Warped!, I finally feel like I found a place for people like me, a place where I belong."
  • While she borrowed Milo's graphic novel without her permission, it turns out Ruby is an excellent artist. Milo is surprised at her talent, and after spending the entire episode doubting her, he accepts her as his partner.

Challenged!

  • Ruby volunteers to take Milo's place at beating Carl's world record on Hamster Hazard, as they don't want to call off the bet.
  • Darby finally stopped crushing on Carl by throwing a crown on him, preventing Ruby from setting the world record. If it wasn't for her, the end result would've been different.

Space-Conflicted!

  • Wilson was willing to give Milo and Ruby the day off, but only if they bring him an autograph. And they did in the end, with Chet Donovan showing up at Warped!.
  • Chet Donovan was originally going to quit doing Space Conflicts, but thanks to Milo, he got his confidence back.

Sandwiched!

  • The whole scene where Milo and Ruby are hanging on a construction lift to give out the Blorphy flyers. Milo finally confessed to Ruby about not liking Blorphy, but the whole time, Ruby didn't like the design either. She admitted she would draw her characters with little lunch-meat heads before making a finalized design. After a few more Brutal Honesty confessions, they both praise each other's works.
  • Despite all the troubles, the owner of Super Sammich ended up using Blorphy as the mascot for the restaurant, renaming the character Hammy.

Recorded!

  • It turns out Olivia didn't mind the embarrassing message Milo sent to her. As a result of this, Milo and Olivia are officially a couple.

Limited!

  • The ending. Unsure who to give the VC 7 to, Milo and Ruby gave it to Wren, even though she gave it to Princess Derpy Derpy. Wilson reassures that Wren will get a free VC 7 soon.

Talented!

  • Darby's theater troupe being saved, thanks to everyone attending the talent show and the money getting donated (the main attraction, of course, being Milo on a spinning wheel).

Finished!

  • This exchange when Ruby told Milo the truth about what really happened:
Ruby: "I'm sorry, Milo. I found the graphic novel earlier, and I accidentally shredded it. I know how important it is to you, so I understand if you never want to speak to me again."
Milo: "What? No, don't say that. You're one of my best friends. Obviously, I'm heartbroken, but I would've never even finished the graphic novel if I hadn't met you. And I know we can create that magic."
  • Wren saves the day by taking Milo's laptop to the repair shop, and so Milo and Ruby finally get to share the graphic novel to everyone.
