- One that wasn't in the game. The second time they get judged, Frisk hugs Sans. One gets the impression it's for just in case the Reset doesn't work out, and they won't see him again. Sans' breathing indicates he's a bit choked up, himself.
- One that is in the game is Frisk hugging Asriel. It's just as heartwarming as it was in the game.
- Mettaton NEO Becoming the Boast in the Genocide Pack. The lyrics to "Power of NEO" make it clear it's not his selfishness, or his vanity, it's his true and genuine love for the monsters of the underground and his sincere desire to protect the ones you haven't killed that makes his NEO form a true threat. Overlaps with Tear Jerker however, as whilst it's a Foregone Conclusion that he fails despite the emotions behind him — Mettaton makes it clear that even if he can't stop Frisk's rampage as he had initially hoped, he's content with sacrificing himself in order to buy Alphys and the other monsters time to evacuate.
- Gaster specifically mentions that he's fighting to avenge Papyrus and Sans, his sons. That's right, the man who speaks in hands reformed himself back into existence from nothing — just to banish the Fallen Child to the void and put them through an eternity of indescribable suffering for their crimes. Especially hurting his children.
