Anos's relationship with his mother and father. For all of the pride he has in his abilities as the Demon King, he holds even more for the people who brought him into the world. His parents, likewise, shower him with affection despite Anos's odd mannerisms. Considering that Anos's backstory in his previous life involved him crawling out of her mother's womb after she was killed at term, it's only natural that he treasures them greatly, and he WILL do anything in his power to make them happy.
Before the story begins, Anos receives an invitation to attend the Demon King Academy. He attends, but not without taking his parents with him after hearing how much they'll miss him.
Anos initially has qualms about competing in the Magic Sword Tournament due to it possibly being a trap for him. What ultimately pushes him to compete? To see the overjoyed looks on his parents' faces when he wins.
Anos's No-Holds-Barred Beatdown of his homeroom teacher was cathartic considering the condescending behavior she displayed towards him since day one. However, it should be stated that the reason Anos was pushed over the edge was not because of Emilia's treatment of him in class, but because she nearly killed his mother.
Likewise, he gives the Anos Union Fan Club the acknowledgement they desperately sought from him for protecting his mother, promising to never forget their names for as long as he lives.
Sasha and Misha's devotion to each other. Both of them want the other sister to survive when the time comes for them to join back together and have no qualms about sacrificing their own life in the process. Sasha spent the better part of a decade searching for a way to keep Misha alive and very nearly succeeds, only to be stopped by Misha's resolute decision to be the one to go. Needless to say, both are overjoyed when Anos finds a way to save both their lives, at which point both of them become his most loyal followers.
Despite their differing positions, Anos had a profound respect for the hero Kanon for possessing a desire to protect his people not unlike his own. So much so, that he shows utter disgust at the members of the Jerga Kanon class claiming to be his descendants, feeling that they have tarnished his name.
Lay and Misa's growing relationship oozes adorableness. Misa becomes drawn to Lay because of his amicable treatment of her despite their differences in social classes while Lay feels indebted to Misa for her attempts to save his ill mother. Lay eventually gifts her with a pair of single shell necklaces as thanks, with the shot of them walking together having very romantic undertones.
It's funny, awesome, and heart-warming all at once when Anos gets powered up through using Asc in episode 13 of the anime. He asks the fan club to sing a song of peace, and boy, do they put on a great performance. The song that the eight girls sing is so heartfelt and sincere that it overrides the ten-million-prayer-powered Asc spell used by Jerga.
