Heartwarming / Tangled Ever After

Go To

  • While it's Played for Laughs, it's ultimately very sweet of Max and Pascal to go after the rings like that—they care a lot about Rapunzel and Eugene (the former especially) and they want the wedding to go off without a hitch just as much as everyone else.
  • Rapunzel appears in full bridal glory into the light, smiling that same kind of smile she had through the whole main movie, and giving a sheepish but happy grin at Eugene when she finally reaches the altar.
    • Special note to her veil, which was made to be as long as her hair had been as a nod to how important it had been to her adventures with Eugene.
  • The look on the King and Queen's faces when they see Rapunzel and Eugene share their first kiss as a married couple. All the more heartwarming when you consider that they didn't know if their daughter was dead or alive for 18 years, and now they get to see her get married.
  • When the Stabbington Brothers are shown in attendance. Also counts as a Funny Moment, given the "WTF"-look on the face of the guard standing next to them when the brothers burst out in Manly Tears.
  • Hook Hand playing the piano at the royal wedding. Not only did he fulfill his dream of becoming a pianist (well, organist), he's the one of the royal family now - quite an achievement for an ex-thug. And Vladimir and the other (ex-)thugs are also present at the royal wedding; Shorty even seems to be Flynn's best man.
  • The very fact that Rapunzel can marry exactly who she wants, the love of her life Eugene, considering that he was a wanted thief and even about to be sentenced to death in Tangled. Her father could easily have gone through with Eugene's death sentence, or at least have forbidden their marriage and sent Eugene away from Rapunzel, but he just wanted Rapunzel to be happy.
  • Rapunzel's Loyal Animal Companion Pascal, the only friend she ever had in the first 18 years of her life, is the one she entrusts with the wedding rings. And Maximus, who at first was an outright enemy to Eugene, is the same for Eugene. They essentially made Maximus and Pascal their best men, even though they're "just" animals.
