• The entire budding romance between Scott and Fran is full of this. What's especially heartwarming about their growing romance is that Scott is able to be himself for once with Fran, and Fran is the first person who wanted to dance the way Scott does. And likewise, Fran is able to overcome her shyness as she spends more time with Scott.
• Scott bonding with Fran's family during his Paso Doble training.
  • When Scott struggles with one move Fran's father calls her over to help him demonstrate. When they're done, he's genuinely proud that she kept up with him.
• After the truth about Barry Fife's lies is revealed, Scott runs after Fran and asks her if she still wants to dance with him. Because of their spat before, you'd expect for Fran to take quite some time to forgive Scott and want to dance. Instead, she simply smiles and nods yes with absolutely no hesitation, happy that Scott came to his senses. Her family's joyous reaction is just icing on the cake, especially Fran's father jumping in joy. Her father and grandmother are also the first people to join in with Doug's Slow Clap.
• Les watching Scott and Fran first perform a Paso Doble at the finale with a subtle yet impressed smile on his face. That has got to be one of the most impressive yet touching pieces of subtle acting there.
• Scott's father crying with happiness during the climax of Scott and Fran's dance. He looks so proud of his son.
