Moments pages are Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned.

  • In any battle where you have multiple NPC allies, if you shoot down an enemy chasing them, they'll thank you and wish you good luck.
  • "Don't ever give up, my son."
    • And at the end of the whole sequence too.
    • Top it all off, when Fox gets back to the rest of the team, Falco actually gives a completely sincere compliment to Fox for making it through, saying "That's our leader!"
    • The Official Player's Guide includes an interview with Miyamoto where he mentions this is his favorite part of the game. The reason? "I'm a father too."
  • In Adventures: Fox making Tricky an honorary Star Fox member. Fox has gone from getting angry at him for... telling him it's a good thing he fell in a hot spring?, not really wanting to take him along after making his mother well and only taking him because he's useful, and saying "That's a shame" after the Warpstone tells him he cannot warp dinosaurs (meaning Tricky therefore can't join him for the Krazoa Palace segments) to saying "I'm gonna miss you, too" and promising to visit soon, on top of the aforementioned honor. They've really grown into friends over the course of this adventure.
  • Falco started off as an all-around jerkass; cynical, arrogant, and snarking at every opportunity. Over the course of the series, however, he slowly grows to respect and care about his allies. By the time of Assault, as mentioned in the manual, he's come to view Star Fox as his family. His change in attitude is made especially clear when comparing his interactions with Fox over multiple games. In 64, he'll groan sarcastically whenever Fox helps him out. When he shows up to help out against the final boss in Adventures, after a fairly jovial quip about Fox still being helpless without him, he says that he's genuinely glad to see Fox and even refers to him as "buddy". And in Assault, he's far more relaxed, with most of his sarcasm being friendly banter, and he isn't above apologizing during moments when his flying is uncharacteristically bad. One ending of Command even shows that his greatest fear is the Star Fox team being able to prosper without him. As much as he'd loathe to admit it out loud, Falco has really come to rely on Star Fox, and it's truly sweet to see how much he's come to care for his teammates.
  • While most of Command's multiple endings range from bittersweet to just sad, two of them provide a much better finale. The first, titled "Krystal and Fox", has said couple patch things up and get back together, meaning the Star Fox team is fully reunited, with the addition of Slippy's wife Amanda. The second, titled "Goodbye, Fox", has Fox retire to live a normal life with Krystal. Years later, their son Marcus, along with Slippy and Amanda's son and Lucy's daughter (and thus Peppy's granddaughter) form a new Star Fox team, with Falco willingly taking the position of mentor. Both endings give the second timeline the closure it deserves: A Star Fox team, old or new, ready for the adventures to come.
