• In their first Christmas since becoming friends, Riley gives Kade a Famicom Classic^note The Japanese version of the NES Classic for Christmas since he had so much difficulty trying to get the NES Classic for himself. She wants to play Bubble Bobble on it, but is disappointed to learn it's not on the Famicom Classic. Kade just says they can play the original on his NES.
• Riley hugs Kade in the New Year's 2023 comic, and they end up holding hands as well.
