Season 1

    Pantheon 
  • David gave Maddie her mother's old computer and tried to ease her by not revealing he was dying.
  • David and Maddie bonding over the idea of conspiracy and what's real and what's not.
  • Maddie's parents each show how much they care for her when they find out she’s being bullied:
    • David hacks into Samara's phone and social media account, leaking her information to her clique and humiliating her.
    • Ellen threatens violence upon Samara if she continues to bully her daughter, not caring about the consequences of her action, which successfully scares Samara away.

    Cycles 
  • Laurie helps Maddie with freeing David, with help from Cody.
  • Cary, after fake-punching his "wife," goes to her and makes sure he didn't push her too hard.

    Reign of Winter 
  • Maddie and David picking up where they left off on their favorite online game, Reign of Winter, and clearly having just as much fun as they did in the past.
  • David and Ellen finally talk in the Reign of Winter, with David accepting that she's with someone else and Ellen apologizing for calling him not human, and both agree to keep talking. The two even joke that this is the weirdest breakup in human history.

    The Gods Will Not Be Chained 
  • Before it led to her comatose state, Laurie making up with Cody after their fight by playing their favorite song.
  • Laurie and Cody reuniting after she was uploaded. With Cody not caring if she doesn't have a physical form and is just happy that his wife is alive, and they can be together.
  • Cary was not happy with the idea that terminating Caspian was on the table.

    Zero Daze 
  • Realizing David tricked everyone in Logorhythms, Peter, after looking at an old photo of them, smiled, happy that his friend is finding a way around their corrupt boss.
  • Cary's love for Caspian able him to go rogue and tell him everything. Accepting that Caspian isn't just Stephen, but his own person.

    You Must Be Caspian 
  • Cary admits that he was all in on the project until during his time raising Caspian that he came to love him like his son and could not bring himself to bring him any harm that's similar to Stephen's life.
  • Caspian and Maddie's good-natured Misery Poker about how insane their lives are. It's a calm in the middle of the storm where Caspian bonds with his new friend.
  • Justine coming to Maddie's house to make sure everything is okay with her, after overhearing the insanity her family is going through.
