Brothers together again.

    open/close all folders

Main series

    Episode 1: I Am King
  • When we first meet Gira, he is playing a roleplaying game with the other orphans, clearly enjoying their game even if it means playing the bad guy. It's clear that he is probably the closest to an elder brother the orphanage kids can get, which is something that he shows with pride.
  • Gira overall doesn't think twice when it comes to helping others, be it to stop a guard from extorting money from a couple under the pretext of taxation, or to be branded a traitor if it means he can save his kingdom's people. This is what makes God Kuwagata, against all odds, acknowledge Gira as the true protector of the kingdom, granting him the power of Kuwagata Ohger over the traitorous Racules.
  • Hymeno shows us why she's a Ranger despite her initial impression, as she moves to protect Gira and his friends from the Bognaarok and does not hesitate to help an injured Kogane. She then angrily wonders aloud why Racules isn't out there helping his subjects, which prompts Gira to head to the castle to demand answers.

Episode 2: A King for Whose Sake
  • It's clear as day that N'Kosopa is far better than Shugoddam in terms of the people's livelihood, as not only is Yanma a much more compassionate ruler, everyone gets along despite the class differences if the kingdom's citizens greeting Yanma informally is anything to go by. In fact, Yanma sees his relationship with his citizens as more akin to partners, which is probably why they are able to get away with their What's Up, King Dude? antics.
  • Yanma reveals to Gira that he climbed his way to the top because he didn't want to see N'Kosopa under Shugoddam's thumb any longer. As arrogant and temperamental as he is, he proves to be worthy of his title, caring for his people's well-being underneath his callous exterior.
  • N'Kosopa's people bawling in support of their king's defiance of Racules. This show of support is what garners Gira's respect for Yanma.

    Episode 3: To Willfully Devote
  • The family who lived in that old and ruined house that Hymeno decided to blow up because it ruined the view was given a new and better house to live in, courtesy of Hymeno, as Gira eventually learns from the child later on.
  • Gira tells Hymeno how one of his ambitions is to run a kingdom where every child can eat the favorite food he had as a child, a gelatin dessert named rainbow juruira, simply based on the good memories it brought him.
  • When the father of the girl in a wheelchair contested Hymeno on how his daughter can still not walk despite having been helped by the queen already, she has Sebastian give them a check to help them with whatever costs they may have.
    • Later on, Hymeno encourages the girl to be more selfish as well and stand up for herself, which she does to show full support to her queen. This clearly makes Hymeno proud.
    • Further on, the girl and her father are assigned the task of fixing a dress for their queen, which they take with gratitude.
  • The first thing on Hymeno's mind after the battle is to have her servants round up the injured so she can attend to their medical needs personally.

    Episode 4: A Lordly Reception
  • What is it that drives Kaguragi Dybowski to be so ruthless and duplicitous? Pride? Greed? Ambition? No, it's his genuine love for his people and his country, and wanting to do whatever it takes to protect them and keep them safe.

Episode 5: The King of Winter is Coming
  • Who does Rita go to for testimony on Gira? The children of the Five Kingdoms, all of whom attest to his true, good-hearted nature, which leads to him being found Not Guilty.
    • Much like Hymeno before them, Rita also travels to each of the Five Kingdoms by themself to obtain the testimonies, rather than sending their aides. The pursuit of justice is that important to them.
  • Morphonia tells Gira how Gokkan is mostly populated by criminals serving their sentences and hating Rita for their punishment, but Gira states how he can't hate someone who upholds actual justice.

Episode 7: The Fury of the Gods
  • Shiokara and Sebastian get N'Kosopa's tech crew and Ishabana's medical team to work together to purge the Shugods of God Scorpion's poison. When asked by their respective rulers who won, Shiokara and Sebestian excitedly declare that it was a tie.
  • Yanma's What the Hell, Hero? towards Gira is surprisingly full of this, as he calls out Gira for trying to solve his problems with God Scorpion on his own. Crosses over with Funny as Gira immediately questions if that means that they are allies, which leaves the former utterly flustered.
Yanma: You think you can do it on your own?! I seem to remember that you told me a bunch of crap about being in your crew. Well in my crew, it doesn't matter if you're in a fight or not... you help when it gets bad, then you can go back to fighting after! That's how things are supposed to work!
  • Remembering Yanma's words, Hymeno manages to connect with God Scorpion after seeing that its true goal was to save God Kabuto. Even though she can't understand what it's saying, she instantly understands its feelings towards humanity, sincerely apologizing for their actions towards it.
  • Gira apologizes for not understanding God Scorpion's true intent.
  • Yanma and Hymeno let Gira go despite his fugitive status, even throwing in their cries for his capture for good measure.

Episode 8: King and Prince in Trial by Combat
  • Despite everything, the orphan kids are more than willing to protest in Gira's name, showcasing their faith in him.
  • Hymeno notes upon examining Gira after the fight that, miraculously, Racules missed all of Gira's vital spots. It's the first hint that Racules on some level, even if it's just subconsciously, doesn't truly want to kill his little brother.
  • When Gira wakes up, the first thing Hymeno asks is if he's okay before claiming that he should be alright with her treatment.

Episode 10: The Fabled Guardian Deity
  • While the moment is sad, before their retainers come by to encourage them, when the rulers have to pick between the people and their pride, all ultimately decide to take Racules offer, not to save their own skins, but so that their citizens may live to survive and someday rise to rebuild. Even Yanma, who in the second episode would rather face the Bognaarok alone than prostrate himself publicly before Racules, decides the populace of N'Kosopa matters more than his ego and would have taken the offer.
  • Taking Gira's words from the previous episode to heart the assistants and retainers all tell their king that they are not alone, that they don't need to carry the burden by themselves. Each one approaches in the way that best fits their king:
    • Shiokara accuses Yanma of giving up his top spot and assures him that more than their king, he's their Yanma. The way the two banter comes off a bit like they have a Bromance going for long.
    • Sebastian, slowly recovering, holds Hymeno's hands and tells her that she's not simply being selfish for trying to protect them, but rather she's afraid of losing them and encourages her to proudly reach for what she really desires.
    • Kuroda breaks the Kuroko etiquette to properly convey his thoughts, suggesting that Kaguragi makes his move to monopolize Gira now, using whatever deception, scheme, or out-thinking he always used to do when others got on the defensive.
    • Morphonia manipulates Moffun from behind to speak to Rita, playing just like they do when Rita needs to reflect alone, although Morphonia!Moffun questions if Rita really needs to do it all alone, and how she wants to stay by their side forever.
  • Despite how dire the situation is, Gira never wavers in his belief that the rulers will never yield to anyone.
  • When Gira states that he isn't a true king, all of the other monarchs reassure him in their own way that he is a king so long as he makes it happen.

    Episode 12: The Sixth King
  • Hymeno's reason for abducting Jeramie was simply to free God Scorpion, which Jeramie gladly hands over to her.
  • As soon as Jeramie reveals his true origins to the group, the others have a moment where they yell at him for not having been straightforward with them and ultimately are sympathetic to his cause. He's so overjoyed that he declares his love to them, much to the embarrassment of Hymeno (who blushes in surprise) and Rita (who hides their face behind the OhgerCalibur).
  • Jeramie's origin might be tragic, but the fact a human and a Bognaarok could genuinely love one another and even have a child is what gives Jeremy hope that the two races can settle their differences.

    Episode 13: The Angry Spider
  • Jeramie hides Gerojim in God Tarantula after faking his death, seeing a kindred spirit in him due to their "half-and-half" natures.

    Episode 14: Together with Moffun
  • Despite not readily showing it, the team shows signs that they care about each other to a certain extent, as seen with their attempts to dissuade Hymeno from enacting revenge.
    • As blunt as he is about, it's clear Gira comes from a good place when he attempts to call out Hymeno for her misguided behavior.
    • Yanma and his team hijack into Ishabana's broadcasting system to urge the kingdom to try and find Jeramie for her.
    • Rita reveals to Hymeno that Together with Moffun was created so that the queen could cope with the pressures of ascending to the throne at such a young age. They then assure her that Hymeno shouldn't forget what she has now even with all of the pain that she has suffered because of her duty to her people. This is what makes Hymeno finally calm down from her rage.
  • Rita scathingly calls out Jeramie for his teasing attitude towards Hymeno's feelings, bluntly telling him his statements of "reading in between the lines" are dangerously ignorant. Jeremy immediately tells them that he wants to make amends, fully regretful of what he's caused.
  • Edda and Hymeno's conversation at the end of the episode sees the latter ensuring that she'll keep protecting her country, as it is full of beautiful things for the former to love. Upon seeing this, Jeremy remarks that it's time to call Hymeno by the formal "queen" now, having gained respect for her views.

Episode 15: A Visit to Suzume
  • Jeramie is willing to hold a "peace discussion" with Bognaarok, only if Racules is willing to release Kaguragi's sister, Suzume, and permit her to go home to Toufu.
    • The reason Jeramie gave this condition? After hearing Kuroda's story, and because he knows how meaningful to have time with family.
  • As Gira points out, Kaguragi's love for his sister was genuine, and he had to question if Kaguragi wasn't feeling hurt. His reaction was to put on a wide smile and talk proudly of her, implying he knows she is feigning her love for Racles as her own way of fighting for Toufu.

Episode 16: The 10-Year-Old Chief Justice
  • Siron kept up the act of being the culprit of Karras' death for 15 years out of his sheer love for her.
  • Hymeno gives Rita a premium edition Moffun plushie to thank them for their help in proving that the Fury of the Gods was caused by one person. While Rita doesn't initially accept it due to their policy of absolute neutrality, they are quickly grateful for the gift and quietly thank Hymeno as she leaves. Hymeno simply smiles in response before skipping her way along.
    • The reason Hymeno is so thankful is no one ever believed her before now that the Fury of the Gods was caused by human hands, and Rita was the first person to take her seriously and help her find the truth.
    • Then there's the secret message Karras left for Rita once she figured out the truth, showcasing how much support and faith she has towards her student and successor.
Karras de Haan: To Rita, upon discovering the truth: the law exists for the sake of the weak. Take pride in your weakness.

Episode 17: A King Does Not Flee
  • Yanma's reaction of threatening Gira and having him tied up is implied to be driven by his fear that if Gira doesn't take the situation seriously; he's going to rush off and get himself killed.
  • In order to protect the citizens of N'Kosopa, Yanma asks Hymeno, Rita, Shiokara, and Sebastian for their help, instilling his full trust in them despite the Unspoken Plan Guarantee.
  • Despite all the odds stacking against him, Yanma refuses to give up for the sake of his country, putting himself in front of Racules' wrath to protect N'Kosopa even with his death on the horizon.
  • When Gira saves him, Yanma tells him that he better win at all costs while he tries to punch him. Gira easily catches it and grasps his hand, responding that he will win. This shows that they've come a long way since Episode 2.
    • In saving Yanma, Gira had to choose between Yanma's life and revealing his existence to Racules, and as far as Gira was concerned it was never really a choice.
  • While most of Shugoddam's citizens are shocked and scared at Gira's survival, his fellow orphans are overjoyed that he's still alive. They're even cheering when he does his "evil" speech.

Episode 18: The Crown Of Beginnings
  • At the beginning of the episode, Kaguragi is shown actually cheering for Gira.
  • Gira personally calls Kaguragi to tell him about Suzume's actual condition, having witnessed her crying after he left with Racules and the others. When Kaguragi asks if there's an exchange for the information, Gira replies that he doesn't have any. Instead, he called because he wasn't sure that he'll be able to call Kaguragi back since the fight against Racules is getting more dangerous by the minute. While Kaguragi initially puts on his typical sly demeanor, there are a couple of moments where you can see his mask betray genuine concern.
    • Gira tells Kaguragi, if push had come to shove, he have dragged his sister with him if it meant saving her.
  • Suzume's tears of sadness turn to joy when she reads the letter her brother slipped her, encouraging her to hang in there and asking for her help.
  • Kaguragi pulling a long gambit that has him stealing the OhgerLance from Racules and declaring Gira as the more worthy king by giving the crown to the latter. He even co-pilots Extreme King-Ohger for him while cheering and praising him with nary a complaint.

Episode 19: The Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger
  • Gira asks God Kuwagata if the latter's worried about him before reassuring him that he'll win this time, indicating how close they are to each other since the first episode.
  • Jeramie cheering up thanks to Yanma, with the two indirectly making amends with each other through their prank on Racules. Compared to where their relationship started in #13, they are considerably much warmer to each other this time around despite their differences.
  • Gira formally meets Kogane and Boone again after saving them from some Sanagim and hugs the two. He thanks Kogane for keeping strong in his absence and promises he will never leave them again.
  • The other kingdoms helping Shugoddam in relief efforts. N'Kosopa's people are rounding up the Sanagim, Ishabana's medical staff are helping the injured, and Toufu's kuroko are handing out rations to citizens. Racules may have not wanted their aid, but the royals are loyal to Gira and willing to help his people.
  • The Shuggodam citizens seem to be slowly warming up to Gira due to his actions in defending the kingdom, all starting to realize Racules' true colors and that Gira isn't as evil as he was made out to be. By the end, they're celebrating when the team stopped the DiamondDanjim.

    Episode 20: Duel of Kings
  • Goroge of all people gets this moment when he finally sees Racules' true colors on screen. Not long afterward, he renounces his support for the tyrant that he now sees and now cheers on Gira to win the duel.
    • Even the rest of his once Racules-aligned faction have now switched over to Gira as well.
  • Kaguragi then proceeds to further motivate Gira by showing him that he now has the full support of Shuggodam, citizens and orphans alike cheering him on.
  • Given how the reveal that Kamejim was posing as Boshimar causes Racules to descend into Tranquil Fury, it is all but outright confirmed that Racules held Boshimar in high regard.

Episode 21: Straight Down The Royal Road
  • After Douga's attempts to work for another country fail, he begs Gira to let him work for Shuggodam again despite fleeing during the invasion. Gira sympathizes with him since he was also a fugitive and allows him, stating his knowledge is useful.
  • Douga asks if Gira has his own ambitions as king. During the following fight, he gives his answer: to allow children's dreams to be fulfilled.

Episode 22: Great Gathering of Shugods
  • When Gira is unable to rouse his people, Jeramie and Kaguragi take it into their own hands to reassure Shugoddam's people that he'll find a way out of the current situation.
  • For someone who treated the Shugods as tools for the most part, Yanma manages to make one hell of a pep talk for the Shugods to give them the courage to fight for their friends. What really snaps them out of their shock is that Yanma finally recognized the Shugods as friends. When Hymeno questions why he's doing this, he explains that while he doesn't believe that they are supernaturally sentient; he does believe that their A.I.s are capable of evolving and can be reasoned with either way.
Yanma: How long are you gonna act afraid? Are you going to save your comrades or what?!
  • King Kuwagata Ohger's impressive finisher against Iragajim allows the people of Shugoddam to regain their faith in their new king.
  • When Gira returns to the castle, he excitedly tells Yanma that the Shugods told him that they were glad he called them his friends. Yanma gives a small, but warm smile in response.

    Episode 23: Shuggodam's Moving Castle
  • While the other monarchs go down to protect the citizens, Gira has to stay behind for when the castle moves. He's very anxious at the moment, but Yanma reassures him, even calling Gira by his real name for once.
  • After Daigorg is taken down, Gira is celebrated as Shuggodam's king and hero by the citizens.
    • After he calls the citizens "gears", he goes down and clarifies he meant that they are all important parts of the kingdom, in that even if one of them went missing then the kingdom couldn't have been saved.
    • The other monarchs look on feeling happy for Gira and walk away smiling to let him bask in the glory of his victory with his own people.

Episode 24: King of the In-Between vs King of the Abyss
  • With the help of the monarchs, Gira realizes that he can still socialize without sacrificing his duty as a king and can let go of his Tyrant persona. This is what lets Gira go have fun with Boone and make up with him.

Episode 25: The Kings Fight With Their People
  • Gerojim risks his life by acting as if he had gone evil to help Jeramie find his will to kill another Bugnarook if that is needed to make his dream of coexistence a reality.
  • Himeno expressing how she didn't like seeing the flowers fall, but realizing that this means more flowers are bound to bloom will make the view more pleasant, emphasizing that with all the risks they will all go, this is so many lives can be spared.
  • Shiokara comes to the realization that this is the first time Yanma is letting his trusted retainers risk their lives fighting by his side, and they all promptly break in tears while Yanma tells them to not lag behind.
  • Kaguragi shares a last meal with Kuroda and Suzume, while pleading they take his dirtied hands in the fight to come, with not only neither of them showing any hint of hesitation, but Kuroda himself choosing to join not only as a Kuroko, but as himself.
  • After realizing Morphonia has been chosen, Rita asks her to join them and hugs her, reassuring they will be together forever.
  • Douga forcefully takes the Ohger-Calibur from Gira and it glows to show that he is a worthy pilot, but the reason he did it was because he doesn't want his king to fight alone.
    • Gira tries to convince him otherwise because he has a family waiting for him and Douga says it is because he has a family that he must join in the fight.
  • All of the other rulers agree with Gira that they will save Chikyuu, without letting anyone die.
  • Gira personally goes to ask Boone to join them, and all reluctance goes out of the window. Of course Kogane asked to come along and Gira didn't ever think of telling her otherwise.
  • During the formation of God King-Ohger Boone has trouble finding where God Ant is supposed to go so both Gira and Yanma gently help him find his place.

Episode 26: Birth of a New Kingdom
  • For all the awful things Desnarak VIII has done, all his insistence in exterminating humanity, all the Shugod souls he consumed to try to destroy Terra from within, he would never harm nor let harm come to one little black God Tarantula, who also loved and showed concern for him on his deathbed.
  • Jeramie entrusted Desnarak with his weapon asking for a fair duel for the future of Bugnarak, humans and Terra as a whole, and Desnarak held back from any further invasion to uphold his promise, showing that even he honors promises above his hatred for humans.
  • The duel could have ended with Desnarak dying by the hands of Jeramie, if it wasn't for Gira stepping in to stop them, explaining how they are not so different, and making a proper apology and prostrating in behalf of humanity, asking this war to stop. Takes a while for it to genuinely take effect and Desnarak is apparently about to admit that this is what he always wanted, but Kamejim had other plans.
  • With his death imminent, Desnarak passes on the empire to Jeramie and hope he can ensure the Bugnarok will survive.
  • At Gokkan, Rita asks if the five kingdoms would welcome the rise of the sixth kingdom in Bugnarok by ringing their sword and all five monarchs ring their Ohger-Calibur making it unanimous and Jeramie's kingdom is now official.
  • Other than Goroge, all people of the five nations respectfully heard to Jeramie's passionate and honest speech about the new future for the Bugnarak.

Episode 27: The Galactinsect King Cometh
  • Once Dagded tells Gira to destroy the Bugnarak, Jeramie looks at him desperately as if he’ll continue the cycle. The moment Gira says no, he smiles in relief.

    Episode 28: Shuffle Kings!
  • Compared to the others, Jeramie!Gira has a better time handling the kingdom well. He's able to kindly go amongst the people and show concern for them so much so no one doubts its Gira.
    • He's confronted with how the prejudices against the Bugnarok has changed in just two years, as a citizen laughs off the idea his people could be responsible. He's moved to tears and thanks her (which leaves her confused) as a touched Gira looks on and, by acting as Jeramie would, shows things have changed for the better.
  • Both Hymeno and Kaguragi, after trying to exploit each others countries, gain new appreciation for the nature of the people and the nations, and uses their own knowledge to fix the situation they inadvertently caused, resulting in Hymeno!Kaguragi using her medical knowledge and Toufu's high-quality medicinal herbs to produce medicine for the exhausted farmers, and Kaguragi!Hymeno taking everyone out to work in harvesting produces themselves to get back in shape, and while both monarchs do so they claim to have learned a thing or two from the other's way of running their country.

    Episode 29: Unqualified King
  • After Jeramie disables the camera, Gira starts protesting against his decision to claim full responsibility for the aides' attack. Jeramie says they need to protect the present in order to save the future, and they'll overcome this to defeat the Galatinsect king.
  • When Hilbil comes to mock the others, they all start clapping and she thinks it's for her. They say no, it's for what Jeramie did and proceed to open a can of whoop ass on her in his honor.
  • Gerojim asks Jeramie if he regrets his sacrifice. Jeramie takes one look at the monarchs sleeping peacefully next to their retainers and says no. After all, he's waited for peace for 2,000 years; what's a few more? A half-asleep Gira even thanks Jeramie as he passes by.

    Episode 30: Frozen Balance
  • The episode opens with Gira checking up on Jeramie after what happened last episode. Jeramie admits it's nice to have a friend worrying about him after all this time, and Gira promises they'll achieve peace in his lifetime.
  • Hymeno stopping Rita from freezing completely, stating she can't lose another friend.

    Episode 31: Love Lasting 2, 000 Years
  • We get to see why Jeramie holds his mother in high regard; not only is she a very competent fighter (managing to kill Daigorg 1-on-1), but her last fight was for the sake of his safety, fending off the Bognarok soldiers that want him dead. This attitude even overrides Glodie's control over her once he revives her.
  • The other monarchs make good on Gira's promise from the previous episode, and trick Dadged into exonerating the Bognarok from the crisis.
  • At the end of the fight, Nephila's true feelings overwhelms her and she stops fighting, apologizing to Jeramie and letting herself be defeated, but even then she gets to hear him say "I love you." one last time. Becomes even more heartfelt once you remember that he once emphatically said that "I love you" was such a simple phrase he would never use it.
  • While Jeramie solemnly contemplates his mother's memento, Gira approaches him and puts a hand on his shoulder, causing him to state how he understands this kind of subtext and a smile to appear on his face.

Episode 33: Shugo! King and Kyoryu!
  • Once the teams make it back to the warehouse, the royals take notice of the despairing citizens and go to cheer them up. Being on another world doesn't stop their caring for the common folk.
  • When the Zyudenryu get freed, Prince hears Daigo's voice entrusting Gabutyra to him. Not only does it means he's okay, it becomes sweeter with the reveal at the end.
  • What is Earth's Melody? The classic Kyoryuger Opening.
  • Turns out Nobuharu and Calendila have gotten engaged since we last saw them. She got her crush after all!
    • Jeramie notes that Earth is really a wonderful place for letting a couple like this work, clearly reminded of his own parents.
  • At the very end, it's revealed Prince's real name is Daigoro Kiryuu, meaning he is Daigo and Amy's future son.
  • Souji carries on Torin's legacy, not just still wielding the Feather Edge sword and Trinity Strizer technique but also snapping his fingers before the roll call.

     Episode 34: Shugo Mask's Counterattack
  • Kogane telling Gira he is Shuggodom's true king.

    Episode 35: Don't Cry, Slack-Jawed Tanuki
  • Douga choosing to trust in Gira, even if his family's safety is in the hands of Shugo Mask.
  • It may have been hard to do, but Yanma choosing to destroy his kingdom's server to save Shiokara.
    • Yanma only had two options: abide to Hilbil's request and destroy his old laptop to let her rule absolute, or let Shiokara punish himself to certain death via Thunder Caller. It was not a hard choice at all, because he could just rebuild N'Kosopa from 0 and free it from Hilbil's control at the same time, but he could never have another retainer like Shiokara.
  • Shiokara's determination to follow Yanma was so strong that he could not only hold himself from punching Yanma, but also he refused to accept Hilbil's orders as final, as even the Thunder Caller recognized he was lying whenever he told himself he was going to destroy that old laptop. And given how far he pushed himself and how he cried in seeing the ruins of their kingdom, he was more than willing to sacrifice his own life for Yanma and their kingdom.
  • Yanma tries to apologize to everyone for his choice, but Gira stops him, telling him he did nothing wrong in prioritizing Shiokara over the laptop.

    Episode 36: Hymeno's Matchmaking Strategy
  • Romane hated his beauty so much that he attempted to kill himself. Hymeno intervened and gave him a better option to make use of himself... by creating a disguise and transforming him into her loyal retainer Sebastian.
    • Before that, he was intent on scarring himself to no longer be beautiful, but Hymeno tells him that even then he would still be beautiful.
    • Hymeno also tells him his caring heart is the most beautiful thing ever and she wants to have it. It only takes a moment for him to decide.
  • Just the sight of Ishabana thriving again and children being given toys after Kamejim is thrown out. After the somewhat Bittersweet Ending regarding N'Kosopa, it's good to know the kings are making progress in the reclamation of the kingdoms.
    • Then Rita receives a Moffun from Geoffrey. They thank him.
  • At the end, Hymeno asks if Sebastian likes being who he is now. He replies that as her butler he feels like he can be who he truly wants to.

    Episode 37: Iroki's Rebellion
  • Lady Iroki recognizes Kaguragi's talents and invites him into training for lordship under her, acknowledging that someone "as foolish and as honest" as him would never betray her. True enough, her faith wasn't misplaced in him: come the day of the Fury of Gods, Kaguragi convinces the revolting people to let him talk with her first, and that gave her enough to expose that the rice had been poisoned, start the fire that would destroy the rice, and stage her execution by Kaguragi's hand so that he would inherit the throne of Toufu and protect their people in her behalf, willingly taking the fall as a villain herself.
    • Even though Lady Iroki calls Kaguragi a traitor, that is only because he could never turn his sword on her, even when she ordered him to. It took seventeen years for him to find his answer and he does not disappoint her: He had figured her out by now, and firmly believe in her good intentions, even if she had to become a tyrant, and chose to truly embrace his role as a traitor if it meant protecting the land and its people. The episode ends with Iroki slowly dissolving with a smile, saying "My little traitor." in an affectionate manner.
    • During their entire encounter there was no actual animosity between the two, it was just reminiscing, questions, and answers, until Kaguragi managed to satisfy Iroki and show how much of a positive influence she had on him.

    Episode 38: Immovable Idol Debut
  • Morphonia declaring that even though the world may hate Rita, she will always stick by them.
  • When Rita questions why the kings are so stubborn, they answer saying they were concerned as they are friends. This is enough for Rita to not arrest them.
  • Dugded genuinely petting Minongan and having fun with him.

Episode 40: We Are King and Prince
  • Prince, after coming to support Gira in saving Shuggodam, gives him a hug and wishes he continues to be a kind tyrant king.
  • At his darkest hour, Gira solemnly calls out for each Shugod by the Affectionate Nickname he gave each, to try and free them from Dugded's control. And it works. As Yanma points out, none of them had to do anything, the Shugods willed themselves free.
  • Fully recovered (possibly with the aid of the Shugods), the monarchs removes the bandages, grabs their swords, and proceeds to leave Ishibana to support Gira in combat no matter what, swearing to become rebel kings if it means supporting Gira despite of the revelations brought onto them.

Episode 41: It's Time to Save The Universe
  • Not only the fact that Racules struck down Dagded instead of Gira, but also that he helps Gira up to declare they are going to save the universe.

    Episode 42: King Racules' Secret
  • It's revealed that Suzume became a willing accomplice to Racules' plans after their marriage, to the point where she helps him fake his death. She even offers to give him the tranquilizer he needs to fake his death through a kiss, to which Racules answers that he's touched that he has such a valuable confidant at his side.
    • Racules was also honestly concerned for the very possibility of Suzume being branded a traitor along with him, showing that he truly felt something strong for her.
  • The Husty brothers fights by covering for one-another, and Gira even shields Racules from an explosion.
  • Racules narrates his story throughout the episode, and it's clear just how much he's proud of the man Gira became, even as his younger brother foiled his plans and forced Racules to change them on the fly.
    • Furthermore: Gira disrupting his plans worked in their mutual favor, as Racules was able to nurture his brother's strength by making himself the villain in everyone's eyes, giving him the means to attain power, and even relinquishing the throne.
  • Like Racules, Gira also refrained from hitting any vital spots in their second duel, showing that he still believed in his brother somewhat.
  • After Dagded is defeated, Racules points his lance at Gira and makes him swear to save the people, and then smiles when Gira obliges, reminiscing of when they were children.
    Racules: You can do it.
  • The other monarchs arrive just in time to help stabilize Racules and help him survive the ordeal. Rita tells a perplexed Gira that as the Ohsama Sentai, it's their duty to save lives whenever possible.
    Gira: You'll save him...?
Rita: We are the Six Kingdom Extranormal Response Task Force. We will save any lives that we can.

Episode 43: The King's Great Sin
  • Gira and Racules's bond is on full force this episode:
    • Despite Gira's origins as a creation of Dadged and Corsus wanting to use him as a weapon, Racules fully saw him as his brother first and foremost.
Racules: Gira is Gira. Not a tool.
    • The whole reason Gira was sent away and his history was erased was because Racules didn't want his little brother used as a tool. While he laments that Gira got caught up in the mess anyway, Rita tells him it was Gira’s choice to fight.
    • After Gira regains his lost memories, he comes to realize that Racules has always looked after him, even if they didn't share the same father.
    • As Gira offers his hand to Racules, his brother smiles as visions of their younger selves are shown hugging.
    Gira: I've finally reached you.
  • Finally realizing he and God Kuwagata have been one for so long, Gira takes a hand to his heart and acknowledges the Shugod:
Gira: (solemnly) Kuwagon... You've been in here all along, haven't you?
  • Under normal circumstances, as Rita reveals, Racules would be sentenced to death. However they decided to enlist him in service of the Royal Squadron, if he is okay with being their tool, giving him more chances to redeem himself for his sins.

Episode 44: The King's Proof! True Six Kingdoms Alliance
  • Suzume greeting Rcules to inform him that his plan worked, with the couple enjoying a moment together even if it's dampened by Rcules being kept in a holding cell.

Episode 45: Heirs Of The King
  • Suzume continues being devoted to Rcules, even climbing into his mobile jail cell as they work together.
  • One scene features Gira sleeping in a hammock and tucked up like a toddler, complete with a stuffed animal in his arms. What completes this package is Rcules looking after him like the big brother he always had been.
  • Jeramie for his part reads the story of the founding of Tikyu's kingdom's to babyfied Yanma and Hymeno.
  • Rita and Kaguragi enact a plan to determine what Morphonia and Suzume really want with their lives, swapping the two women between them. Doing so allows Morphonia and Suzume to open up and say what they really want, and Rita and Kaguragi ultimately honor their wishes.
    • Part of Rita and Kaguragi's plan to convince Suzume and Morphonia to follow their heart comes from exposing each other's feelings: Kaguragi wants Suzume to find and pursue true love rather than stay with him, and Rita did not wish Morphonia a lonely life that would follow her if she pursued the throne of Gokkan.

Episode 46: Behold the Beauty of Life
  • Jeramie and Racules help the Sanagim dig graves for their fallen comrades. Jeramie tells Racules that he's doing this to help instill the value of life among the Bognaarok, as part of his attempts to move them away from the death cult they had become in the war against humanity.
    • The little Tarantula Abyss makes a return to visit Desnarok's gravestone, which is a block of pavement where he died and had been removed to be placed at the entrance of the Bognaarok graveyard.
  • Jeramie muses that losing his immortality wouldn't be so bad, given that it would mean he would grow old alongside his friends in the Ohsama Sentai. A far cry from the opportunistic manipulator that earned everyone's distrust. For his part, Gerojim (who hasn't been seen in a long while) reassures that he'll stay by his lord's side through it all.
  • Hymeno and Jeramie's conversation after extracting the gem that holds Jeramie's immortality is both this and a Tearjerker, as the two try to comfort each other while mourning the lost opportunity to revive their parents.
Jeramie: You know, now isn't a bad time to go back to being a young lady.
    Hymeno: The subtext here?
    Jeramie: It's Okay to Cry.
    Hymeno: It'll ruin my makeup...
Jeramie: (Hymeno and Jeramie are holding back tears) Then I guess... I can't cry either.
  • The other monarchs are clearly struggling with the fact that they have to kill the revived Bognaarok, a far cry from their hostile attitude two years prior.
  • Hymeno's dilemma throughout the episode is that she wants to grant immortal life to everyone on Tikyū, thus preventing them from dying horrible deaths. However, seeing Gira's conflict over his status and Grodie's madness convinces her that life is more beautiful with death because you are able to fully cherish the moments that you have. This influences her decision to give Grodie the opportunity to live, even if it ends up causing another Fury of the Gods.

    Episode 47: Silence God
  • When Hymeno tries to go after Grodie, Rita immediately stops them in their tracks, with Gira reminding her that their duty now is to make sure that their people are safe. Hymeno immediately understands this and refocuses her intent.
  • The monarchs' plan to deal with the second Fury of the Gods involves them crafting an evacuation plan that would attempt to evacuate every single citizen of Tikyu and make sure no one gets left behind, using their respective kingdoms' strengths working in concert to do so. The best part? They succeed without a hitch.
    • Once Hymeno reports there were no casualties, the entire team (plus Rcules) huddle for a group cheer. Rcules is seen smiling when Gira cheers.
  • After Yanma makes his announcement to the people of Tikyū, Kaguragi requests that Kuroda plant a nail in the heart of the Peta Castle to ensure the safety of the ones that are taking the greatest risk, that being Yanma and his retainers.
  • The Gokkan prisoners tried to escape the prison through an underground system by digging out the rubble blocking the hole, but were caught by Rita and tried to hide it. They seem to think Rita is going to punish them, but instead they gave them a job to help out the evacuation and tell them that while their crimes won't go away; they can start fresh and state that anyone that leaves Gokkan's prison are those who willingly serve others. This encourages and inspires the prisoners to immediately begin helping out.
  • Rcules continues his redemption by offering his hand to a woman who lost her family to the first Fury of the Gods, overcoming her reluctance to accept his help with Gira's assistance.
  • When Jeramie asks what his Sanagims feel about helping out in the evacuation plan, they reply that they feel good doing it. In other words, Jeramie's work has succeeded tremendously, turning the Bognaarok around from a kingdom of death and despair to one of happiness and help in just two years' time.

     Episode 48: Farewell, Dear People
  • All the citizens deciding to defy the Kings' final plan to help them. Even Racules joins in in their rebellion against their monarchs' orders.
Racules: You're all fools... And so am I!
    • It is very certainly a hopeless situation, but they would all rather go down fighting by their monarch's side than to leave them behind and repeat millennia of histories to try their hand at another chance.
    • Of note is Racules' reaction. From his expressions, it's clear after explaining he knew everything that he's conflicted about the others sacrificing themselves. The moment he hears everyone is going back for them, he gladly joins in to save his brother.
  • When the real Goroge shows up to expose Kamejim in "Goroge" disguise, Boone is able to tell who is the real Goroge by hearing how loud the latter is to which the rest of Shuggodam agrees knowing just who Goroge is. Goroge sounds like he's about to cry tears of joy because everyone remembers him.
  • After having his chance to turn a new page been denied once, Desnarak VIII comes from the land of the dead as an envoy for the monarchs.

Episode 49: The King is Here
  • The entirety of the citizens' arrival to help:
    • The first citizen that comes? The crippled girl that Hymeno helped all the way back in #3, proclaiming she's being selfish.
    • Rita hugging Morfonia who the latter reminds that they promised they'd be together forever.
    • Just moments before, Dagded boasts that Kamejin had already killed them all. You can imagine Gira's relief when he sees them all alive.
    • Suzume goes to help her brother, reminding him of what he said about wars and meals.
    • Gerojim gently cradling Jeramie.
    • Shiokara handing back the King's Proof to Yanma while telling him in his own way that "the style doesn't suit me"; Yanma's smile tells the whole tale.
    • Once Gira sees everyone return, he demands they retreat, only for Racules to step up and give a modified version of his brother's tyrant king speech, proclaiming they have inherited his will to fight against all odds and they will save their kings.
    • Douga hands the Founder's Crown to Gira, reminding him he has to honor his people's wishes. With that, Gira finally accepts the army's help and the team re-equips their King's Proofs.
Gira: With me... you rebellious dogs.
  • Devonica summons some backup from the afterlife to help, leading to some very touching reunions:
    • Boshimar takes a moment to apologize to Racules for his death, figuring it must have been a burden.
    • Nephilia being motherly to Jeramie and fawning over him for a moment, before going full-on Mama Bear against a resurrected Grodie to give time for Jeramie to recover. After being briefly befuddled by her rage on Grodie, Jeramie cannot help but smile.
    • Hymeno's parents immediately snap into doctor mode and treat the wounded, with Elegance hoping they take care of Hymeno as well. When Hymeno's mom locks eyes with her child, Hymeno lets her know in her own way that she's okay, then breaks into a smile.
    • Iroki borrows Kaguragi's Ohger Calibur to fight in his place while he recovers, and he conveys her his gratitude for the support.
    • Desnarook VIII pulls Gira up to tell him to stand for his ideals of being a good king or he would kill him there and now, and later he shouts that Terra belongs to the living.
  • Gerojim telling Jeramie his kindness is what gives him strength.
  • The sight of the kings recuperating with a small picnic created by the citizens and increasing their morale.
  • Dagded is getting infuriated, and for good reason. He thrives off inner conflict, so the sheer fact everyone is getting along is driving him mad.

Final Episode: We Will Rule The World
  • Vedalia makes a subtle cameo by handing Kofuki a lolipop from offscreen, helping him figure what the Shugod Souls are made of so that they can start making a new source of Eternal Life for the ultimate God King Ohger.
    • The new source itself is however just a vessel to be filled with life, and that life itself comes from the will of the entire population of Tikkyu putting their hearts together. As it was described, many small lives can form a chain of life that stretches to near infinity.
  • Abyss Tarantula tries to follow Desnarook VIII to the afterlife, but Desnarook solemnly tells them it's too soon, and the Abyss Tarantula stays behind without showing any sadness nor regret.
  • The Shuggods puts all their being into powering their bodies beyond their limits in order to have enough strength to defeat Dagded for good. And they manage to survive still, as their cores are still intact.
    • Yanma stops Gira from thinking the Shuggods are dead by reminding him that Kuwagon is still in him, and that as long as their Souls lives their bodies can be rebuilt. He has come from a long way, from seeing them as machines, to seeing them as AI capable of evolving, to finally acknowledging their Souls as living beings.
  • As the Kings start returning back, they all start dapping each other up - Yanma and Himeno give each other a low high-five, Kaguragi and Rita a light fist-bump, and Gira and Jeremie share the classic L-shaped fist-tap.
  • Everyone on Tikyuu celebrating the Kings’ victory. Of note is Jeramie being tossed in the air and Gira hugging his brother before doing the same to Kogane and Boone.
    • Racules then heads towards Douga trying to hide his tears of joy, and you can't blame him. His sacrifices paid off. After two millennia of suffering, it's finally over.
  • As Racules is still serving his sentence in Gokkan, Suzume still stays by his very side to support him, bring him hot tea, and flirt with him. Their love truly knows no bounds.
    • She takes a moment to mention how he has been smiling much more now, and he responds that with her by his side he doesn't have a reason to be sad. Worth noting that he spent the majority of the series being smug, serious, or donning an evil smile, and now he is able to just smile openly after finally completing his long-term goal of taking down Dagded.
  • Jeramie’s final monologue, encouraging the viewers to make their own endless stories that connect others and that they will find happy endings for themselves.
  • In a unique take on the traditional Sentai Handoff, Boon Red meets with Kuwagata Ohger and offers him a ride around Chikyu, giving us one last glimpse of the five kingdoms as Gira waves goodbye to the audience, before he calmly rests his head on Boon Red's shoulder. It almost comes off like Boon Red congratulating him and everyone else for managing to finally save their world.
