  • Eugene Zuckerberg is normally a cop-hater and terrorist, but he showed up at Dias' funeral and gave a heartwarming and respectful eulogy, calling Dias "one of the good ones."
  • Tony Corleone, of all people, gives Sgt. Angel a speech about how she lost against criminals for now, but would immediately bounce back and kick ass. Silly? Maybe. Heartwarming? Absolutely.note
Tony: In this moment, Angel realized she'd lost the battle. Another L under the belt tonight. And then she'll snap back and she'll come back and she'll fuck all these criminals in the ass, just like she always does. It's okay, Angel. You're a god amongst women, the Angel, the Demon of the Skies. God bless your soul.
  • During the Cosmic Retcon between NoPixel 2.0 and 3.0, Four Tee is recaptured and sent back to the Black Box, but escapes again with psychological truama. During the first day of 3.0, she wanders around Los Santos disoriented in a hospital gown, and no one helps her or remembers her. That is, until she's found by Cheddar Sanchez — friend number 74 in 2.0 — and several other members of the HOA, who still remember the events of 2.0. Cheddar tells Four Tee (who doesn't remember him) that she matters, is aghast that his friend been left to wander around Los Santos with no help and no clothes, and takes her to a clothing store and offers her money so she can change back into her Iconic Outfit.
  • Seeing the normally brash and egotistical Sheriff Pred taking Cadet Crystal Clear under his wing is very heartwarming. Doubly so when she takes all his guidance to heart.
  • Bob Smith getting to ride off into the sunset with a well-deserved happy ending retiring in Tijuana. As part of his departure he left voice mails for some of the most key individuals in his life: Metzger, Toretti, Malton, Snow, Copper, Pred and Denzel. The messages were a barrage of good-byes, hatchet burying, reassurances, and proof that even if he's leaving Bob will miss the PD and the people in it dearly.
    • He tells Metzger that he's going to keep doing great things in the city and drops an invitation if he's ever in Mexico.
    • Toretti finally gets the "I'm proud of you" he'd wanted for so long.
    • Malton similarly gets an "I'm proud of you" after some reminiscence about his cadets days and warning him to be careful as being as good as he is could get him in trouble.
    • Snow's is recorded after Bob pulls his parachute from his exit too soon and is stuck in the middle of the ocean. He thanks Snow for assisting in his send-off and express how glad he was that he got to spend his last day listening to command and high command like the old days of talking shit themselves. He ends it by telling Snow that he's true trooper material and one of the best cops he'd ever seen.
    • He thanks Copper from being everything from his teacher, to his friend, to his partner, and points out how many members of the PD look up to her as one of the PD OG's.
    • Bob apologizes to Pred and admits regret that he didn't give him a proper chance when he first became High Command. He goes on to admit that he was wrong about Pred as Sheriff and that he's doing a fantastic job of leading the PBSO as a department and that he's happy he was wrong. Pred reacts by wordlessly walking out of MRPD, looks up at the sun in the sky, gets back into his vehicle where Nancy is waiting for him, and after a brief pause...
Pred: (Sadly) ...Let's get back out there.
    • Denzel's voicemail stands out in that Bob hadn't really spoken to him since the murder of Michael Dias back in 2.0 and swore to never speak to or forgive him for it. But he states that people change and that he's sure Denzel himself has changed after marrying Andi and becoming mayor. He ultimately tries to bury the hatchet with him as Zelda's godfather and tells him that if he's ever in Mexico to give him a call.
  • Speaking of Denzel, there were a thousand ways that his marriage to Andi Jones could have gone south, especially since they initially only got married for tax reasons. But the two have developed such genuine affection for each other, and have shown incredible amounts of character development. Denzel is still a criminal, but he's less bitter and psychotic, more compassionate, and intensely loyal to his family; and Andi has lost her once-trademark nervous walking gait and has become much more assertive.
