Heartwarming / Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas

Go To

  • In "Belles on Ice", Minnie and Daisy's antics get to the point where Minnie attempts to leap over her crocodiles who are carrying Daisy's hippos while she's using her bow as a blindfold. Unfortunately, she then trips over a bell that had fallen onto the ice earlier. This leads to her and Daisy making up and performing together.
  • "Christmas: Impossible":
    • After Huey, Dewey and Louie accidentally ruin all of Santa's Christmas presents, they're completely certain that even if the mess is somehow cleaned up, they won't get any presents. They decide to help out anyway because it's the right thing to do.
    • Huey, Dewey and Louie spend most of the story wanting to write their names on Santa Claus's Nice List themselves. When they finally have the opportunity, they write Scrooge's name instead in the hope that he'll get the bagpipe he's always wanted. Santa grants his wish and gives Huey, Dewey and Louie gifts because of their selflessness and to thank them for the help.
    • On top of it, Scrooge's delight at having gotten the bagpipes he's always wanted is quite touching.
  • In "Christmas Maximus", Max realizes that he loves Goofy because he is...well, goofy. He then forgets about being embarrassed, goes home and joins the fun with Goofy and Mona.
    • The final scene of "Christmas Maximus" is a vertical-slit picture of a Rejected Goofy and an Angry Max transforming into a picture of Father and Son arm-in-arm in perfect harmony. The Narrator paraphrasing the words of "I 2 I" from A Goofy Movie gives the perfect coda to Goofy and Max:
Narrator: When a Father and a Son end up miles apart, they can always see Eye to Eye if they act Heart to Heart.
  • Donald spends most of "Donald's Gift" being angry and annoyed because he hears "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" everywhere. After causing damage to a windows display and being kicked out in the cold, he uses the song to make it up for it when he finds some off-key carolers and helps them sing it well. His nephews and Daisy, who had previously left Donald after being disappointed at him, join the others outside around the big Christmas tree.
  • When Mickey and Pluto are reunited in "Mickey's Dog-Gone Christmas".
