  • The Adam computer seems pretty concerned about Samus' safety this time around. He tries to convince her that the mission might be more trouble than it's worth, but if she is to go through with it, she should find a way to communicate with him when the signal starts weakening. In comparison to Adam from Other M, who (in the English localization) only lets her use the Varia Suit after she is midway through the lava area, Adam tells her to get the Varia Suit before she goes into extreme temperature areas, truly taking her life into consideration. It's later revealed that the Adam having her do the latter was Raven Beak all along, but given how Samus figures out something is wrong when the fake Adam starts acting aggressive towards her, it's safe to say that Adam would suggest this too.
  • Doubles as an awesome moment as well, but when Quiet Robe tells Samus that she must keep her Metroid DNA safe for the sake of the galaxy, she assures him that she'll put an end to this scheme... using the Chozodian language. While she did talk with the Adam computer in Fusion, and throughout the questionable Other M, this is the first time we've actually heard her talk in a 2D Metroid game. And she was using the language of her adoptive family, having that much respect for them.
    • Even better, this is the first peaceful Chozo she's met since the manga. Metroid Prime established that Samus was already considered sacred among all the Chozo as the warrior who would inherit their will and keep the galaxy at peace, and the fact Quiet Robe knew her name lends all the more credence to this theory. While his death at the hands of a Robot Chozo immediately after their conversation is definitely a tear-jerking moment, it needs to be pointed out that after being enslaved by Raven Beak, Quiet Robe's final moments were spent with the now grown-up future of the Chozodian heritage, promising him that she would stop Raven Beak's scheme in their native language. For the characters themselves, this has to be one of the most emotional moments in their lives; for Samus, as she finally, finally got to meet another Chozo, the race that saved her and gave her the means to avenge her parents' deaths at the hands of Ridley; and for Quiet Robe, who gets to bear witness to the fact that the prophecies of his people were being fulfilled, and Samus was every bit the ray of hope the Tallon IV Chozo believed her to be.
  • It may not seem like it at first, but Samus finally letting her Metroid side go wild on Raven Beak is secretly a Heartwarming moment. The Thoha's greatest regret was creating the Metroids - the consequences of this mistake were immeasurable, basically causing the entire Metroid series conflict to unfold. So when Samus remembers all the Chozo slain by Raven Beak, when Samus finally becomes a Metroid, she is reclaiming the Thoha's mistake and turning it into something positive. They can now rest easy, knowing that their most dangerous experiment has led to the coming of a true "ultimate warrior".
  • The fact that all of this can be traced back to Samus sparing the infant Metroid on SR388. Its DNA saved Samus from X infection, and now enabled her to awaken to the power she needed to defeat Raven Beak.
  • In the final cutscene, an X Parasite replicant of Quiet Robe comes to Samus, with the latter defensively preparing to kill it. But in a surprising subversion of expectations, QR-X bows to Samus and decomposes into its X form and flies into Samus. Since Quiet Robe made and can control the Metroids, the genetic data it contained let Samus turn back into her more controllable form and let her touch the controls on her ship without accidentally draining it. It's implied that either Quiet Robe regained control over his body at some point, or that he was so noble that his kindness even carried over to the X using his body. Either way, giving its life to help Samus escape is nothing short of admirable, making QR-X the only purely benevolent X in the series. Especially because Samus believed the X to be monsters in the previous game, intelligent, but incapable of reason.
  • After the end credits, there's a brief cutscene that ends with Samus glancing at the player. Through her visor, you can just barely see her eyes crinkling. This is immediately and fittingly followed by the traditional "See you next mission!"
