- Joe and Sven tell Amelia that they believe in her ability to find the person responsible for the fire. When she eventually does, she says it was because she had the help of all of her friends.
- After Amelia feels discouraged when Edwina tells her that the former's mother Freya allegedly relied on dirty tactics to get back at the latter back in school, Kate cheers Amelia up with a drawing of herself and her family, including Joe and their new dog.
- When Amelia feels bad from Sam impersonating Joe and nearly tricking her into kissing him, the real Joe finally asks her out for their first date. She says yes, and they finally kiss without getting interrupted, sharing the moment at the café terrace.
- When Yuka finds out that Eve is already planning to propose to her long-distance partner, she leaves the café heartbroken. Amelia then rings her up and asks her how she's doing, and when Yuka believes that she's not good enough for anyone, especially Eve, Amelia reminds her of her good qualities and how much she's a good friend. This helps Yuka move on from her crush on Eve the next day.
- While Amelia fixes the bathroom, she worries that her relationship with Joe might be over because they haven't found the time for their first date. Yuka then drops by and reassures her that Joe was being honest when he said that he'd still love her whether or not they have that date.
- On Day 24, Amelia tells Sven that she could not have restored the cafe without his help, and that while she never knew her dad, she always knew she had the greatest uncle in the world. Then she, Sven, Esme and Kate all embrace.
