  • Tim and Styx are brothers and Styx has been taking care of Tim ever since their parents were killed.
  • Cale's former sparing partners who were just background characters go on a quest to tell him of their master's trickery. They spent most of their lives beating him with sticks but they want to tell him the truth.
  • The squirrel queen earned her title by protecting her people from the rakkun, even refusing to run to safety since it would have been leading the rakkuns to their hiding place.
  • Dorel and Ray'd teasing each other.
• Strip 1256. When Leena breaks down over what she did while infused with the Archmage's power, Richard forgoes the expected punchline and merely holds her to comfort her.
• This man is under my protection for the remainder of his days. And they will be plentiful.
