Heartwarming / In Bruges

• Ken comes to to care for Ray so much he is willing to risk the wrath of his gangland boss. He even holds Ray and tries to comfort him as he has a tearful breakdown.
• One of the few times Ray smiles in the film is when Chloe gives him her number.
• Even Ken and Harry share a heart-warming moment as they chuckle over Yuri and how he talked to both of them about the alcoves. Harry even cracks a chuckle at Ken's impression. It allows us a glimpse into their decades-old friendship.
• Ken, the hardened veteran hitman, positively skipping through Bruges in delight at the medieval wonder about him.
• Even though he shoots Ken in the leg in anger and frustration, Harry still continues to struggle helping his old friend down the tower steps afterwards.
• In a strange way, Harry's reaction after shooting Ken the second time around. He is genuinely apologetic and remorseful for doing so and clearly still cares about his friend.
• Another bittersweet example; even after being shot several times, Ray attempts to dissuade Harry from ending his own life. It really shows Ray's character development that he wants Harry to live despite everything that's happened.
