In spite of their true, murderous design, the animatronics truly enjoy entertaining and playing with kids. Just hear Baby's nostalgia when she remembers being on stage, surrounded by happy kids, with the glitter and balloons and smell of birthday cake... then everything went wrong.
If you subscribe to the "it was never Baby talking to you" idea, then that means that Ennard was the one happily talking about ice cream and playing pretend on Night 4. The thought of that monstrosity having the personality of a little kid is just adorable.
