Season 1

  • When Anne faints after Rinaldo tells her to hold her breath:
Johnny: After about a minute and a half... you see her waiver a little bit while standing up, and then she just like pitches straight forward face first on the pavement...
Leon: [Rinaldo] stops and wakes her up
Leon: (as Rinaldo) Anne, you can stop now.
Austin: (as Anne) That was really hard... why'd I do that?
Leon: Rinaldo just sort of sighs and then puts Anne on his shoulders and says "Never mind, lets just go."
Austin: (As Anne) Ok... I won't bother you anymore if you don't want me to, I just worry about you. I know stuff has happened, and we've both done bad things, but I still care about you. You're still my best friend.
Leon: (As Rinaldo) [Begrudgingly] Y...You're my best friend too...
Austin (As Anne) I love you Rinaldo.
Leon (As Rinaldo) I'm reasonably fond of you, Anne.
Austin [Laughs] Anne pats your head.

Season 2

  • In Episode 3, Vinnie creeps Drop out at first with her sudden request for friendship, especially given what usually happens to Drop's friends, but then later on in the same episode, Drop helps an ill Vinnie swim to shore in return for hers and Violet's kindness to him.
    Austin: Swimbuddies?
    Lauren and Johnny: Swimbuddies!
    Austin: We're building friendships here.
  • By Episode 28, Drop seems to have gotten around to the idea that his new friends don't die so easy and that he is not a "nexus of death", and instead of having one of his panicked freakouts when Alias receives an unhealable wound, he keeps it together, and gives his friend some comforting words and a shoulder to lean on.
  • Violet's complete loyalty to Drop, which becomes apparent especially in the later episodes of the Lorelei campaign.
Violet: I'm following Drop. It's kind of a thing I do.
    • She attempts to fight as Drop's champion when he turns himself in to Jem and when she is rejected, starts to cry out of fear for him.
  • When Vinnie finally has the big convo with K, candidly discussing the fact that she is not the Lavinia that he raised, he declares that she is still his daughter and that he and Moreno love her unconditionally.
  • When the party is about to cross the portal to Zavala, Alias uses his magpie Gob to guide his father to the front of the Autumn Palace so they can have at least one last glimpse of each other, as Alias does not believe he will make it out alive. Cyldiel comforting her son about these worries also adds to the heartwarming.

Season 3

  • Winifred being overjoyed at Veltari calling him "little buddy." And just generally, Winifred's selfless concern for the team.
  • After the early awkwardness, Zoey and Claire-Elise becoming real sisters.
Claire: Our family sucked so much we made a new one out of ourselves!
  • Mardis realizing that he was trying to break up a family, and tearfully embracing Warden Light.
  • When Veltari panics at the idea of being stuck in a place where she can never start afresh, Rolen tells her this:
Rolen: Whether you stay, or whether you come along with me, I have a feeling that there'll always be at least one person that you can go to who is willing to overlook your past mistakes.
  • Zoey and Alice's last conversation, where Alice implies that Zoey's like a daughter to her.
  • Veltari finds Wulf's head cut off in Ilium, and at first is horrified, before realizing that he's still alive and will be fine, dropping to her knees and hugging him tightly almost in tears, calling him a hero and asking how many he kicked to death.

Season 4

  • As shown during the wrestling heist arc, Veltari is still highly revered in Bozog culture, even after the lengthy Time Skip. Laura is downright thrilled with how her character from the previous season, a late addition, has made a lasting mark on DiceFunk lore.
  • During the battle against Algernon, Frank chooses to surrender in order to prevent Algernon, who was throwing away his Lifepoints as part of a fatigue-effect by drawing cards compulsively after being driven to madness by one of Lenora's spells, from accidentally killing himself as a result. This is after, among other things, his bitter rival had trapped the party in The Most Dangerous Video Game with the intention of killing him specifically, nearly killing Catarina minutes before by summoning an Olympus Mon that the party had no chance of defeating (and who only survived due to her class' inherent damage reduction abilities), and coming dangerously close to electrocuting him to death with an electric spell, mocking him when he wet himself in his unconscious state.
  • As revealed in Episode 17, Lenora has come to see Frank as a surrogate dad. Frank seems to reciprocate, to the point where, despite having nothing but resentment for Catarina following her actions during the military base arc, he sticks with the rest of the party to stay with her.

Season 5

  • Dr. Olivia Adler doesn't hesitate to throw herself in front of Courage to block a potentially fatal blow. They meet a short time after that atop the Snallygaster and share a romantic moment.
  • Episode 26:
    • After Sasha shoots Objectivus into Kajita's brain, fulfilling her promise that she would find him a body to take over, Subjectivus glomps her in appreciation for not only finding him a body, but one as impressive as that of a sun dragon's. Austin notes that this act has ensured their permanent loyalty.
    • As a result of the above and the group briefly becoming a Hive Mind to help speed up the process of Objectivus taking control of the now-deceased Kajita, Subjectivus' conduit power changes, as his personality is no longer fit to be a conduit of Isolation. Instead, he becomes a conduit of Brotherhood, marking the first time that we see a person's conduit power change since they were introduced in the previous season.
