- "Depths of Night" is absolutely heartbreaking, and it's understandable that Crono's friends are at the Despair Event Horizon, but then there's the fact that Magus is visibly affected by Crono's death. Maybe it's because Magus realizes that it's his fault.
- "The Hero's Grave" with its depiction of Cyrus being able to rest in peace and Frog finally able to move on from the past, unlocking the full potential of the Masamune in the process.
- Marle and her father's reconciliation at the end of "Trial of Guardia." As both of them are unable to turn what they want to say into words, their embrace says it all for both of them.
- "To Far Away Times." Robo is in a good future with Atropos, Frog becomes human again and is knighted, Magus has found hope, and Crono proposes to Marle and Ayla to Kino. Lucca builds a smaller Robo. It's accompanied by very heartwarming lyrics.
