His relationship with his father. Yes, he may have been crazy and a Jerkass, but Titus obviously has a lot of love for him.
"My father never missed a drink in his life. Or a joint. Or a party. Or a chance to get laid. He also never missed a day of work. Or a house payment. Or a car payment. I never went hungry, though he did a couple times so I wouldn't."
Titus telling the audience that he hated becoming a guy who constantly complained about his childhood and other problems and believing that is the reason his life sucks now. While he hated the fact his father kept calling him a wussy, he said that if anyone felt like they needed to shoot themselves like his mom did, he would tell them to quit being a wussy. This is after everything that he himself had gone through.
5th Annual End of the World Tour
Meeting Sgt. Pepper (yes, that's his real name) on a tour to Iraq. Despite being in a wheelchair and being blind in both eyes, Sgt. Pepper told Titus that his showrocked, and that it was an honor to have him there. Titus, who is "pretty good at finding funny ina dark place, couldn't say anything except 'You're welcome.'"
Love is Evol
Titus finding love with a woman who was not only better-looking than his wife, but was smart and mentally stable (and a family that was functional and loving, albeit a bit overprotective of their daughter). Yes, he did embarrass himself a few times, but given his past loves (who all either cheated on him or were psychotic) and his wife utterly destroying him with allegations that he beat her and his kids (never mind that Titus' wife stole money from her kids' college funds so she can get plastic surgery for two guys she was dating behind Titus' back) just so she can side-step the "no-fault divorce laws" in California (which only allow one spouse to get everything if he or she claims that the other spouse abused him or her), this was a happy ending for him.
Neverlution
It's made pretty clear that Titus is able to get through his dysfunctional life nowadays (especially in the wake of his divorce) by focusing on raising his children to the best of his ability.
Titus naming off all the things that happened to him that should have driven him to be an antidepressants addict (his mom's suicide after her latest stint in court-ordered psychiatric therapy, his sister's suicide after the guy she was dating broke up with her yet again, his divorce from Erin that took him 5 years to finalize and cost him roughly $2 million in alimony and legal fees, and living with his Jerkass dad who crushed his self-esteem note The televised version of "Neverlution" just named off his mom and sister's suicides and the divorce from Erin that took him five years to finalize and cost him $2.5 million; the reference to being depressed because of his dad was in the audio recording), but he instead takes his messed-up life and makes himself an antidepressant for others — one that you can safely take with alcohol.
His discovery at a seminar when the people told him that a man doesn't spend his life savings to keep custody and stay with you your entire life because he hates you. Titus has made comments in past routines that something happened that made him and his dad reconcile but that was the first time he laid it all out.
The Voice in My Head
The story of how he met Bruce Springsteen during the time that he was divorced from Erin and dating Rachel Bradley, including finding out that Bruce's son was a fan of Titus's TV show (which was canceled at the time, but did get a DVD release of all three seasons).
Throughout the special, though he really doesn't like Trump or Clinton, he makes it perfectly clear he doesn't blame the people who voted for either of them. His biggest political point is that the left and right both need to come together and stop hating each other.
Carrying Monsters
Titus talks about the time that his dad kidnapped him. Semi-legally, no less. How? He didn't think it through, but by sheer luck he got seated next to the District Attorney of the town Titus was in at the time on the flight, who happened to be going through a messy divorce at the time and told Ken how to legally abduct his own child.
The multi-layered Bait-and-Switch when Titus talks about suicide.
When Titus's ex-wife drags him to court again for more child support, he manages to talk his new wife into going with him. His new wife was reluctant at first, right up until Titus mentioned the court date that his ex-wife had selected was his new wife's birthday. Apparently, now it was personal, because Titus finds his new wife "dialed the hotness level up to eleven" to go to court.
Titus: What are you doing? Rachel:[coldly] I want to see that bitch. I want her to see what she'll never be. Titus:[Happy Dance] I love you!
