  • In the tenth mission "Ambush", after Daniels fails to save Zussman from capture, he is comforted by Stiles and Aiello who tell him that it isn't his fault.
  • Aiello has been an ass towards Howard ever since he meets him due to his racist views. Few months of fighting together and after the US takeover the Rhine, Aiello finally apologizes for his behaviour towards him.
  • Pierson in the twelfth and final mission "Epilogue" , is no longer The Neidermeyer he started off as, helping out Daniels in his search for Zussman.
  • In the same mission, Daniels manages to bring Zussman back home right as he was to be executed by Metz.
  • Later, Daniels reunites with his wife and newborn son, before puts his medal of honor on his brother's grave. He also names his aforementioned newborn son after his dead Commander, Lieutenant Turner.
  • Since Daniels is fully voice and is given a defined personality unlike most COD protagonist who are usually Heroic Mime, the player can see how Daniels interact with his fellow brother in arms aside from the lead characters. In the opening Death Factory, he helps the camp cook to deliver food to Willis, a soldier on look out. Take note that this is consider a primary mission in order for the level to continue.
