• The moment in the first episode "The Legend Continues". When Dar calms the tiger from the Terrons arena, then freeing it to go on its way.
  • Dar and Tao becoming friends. Tao is frightened after having just escaped from the Terrons, but having no way to get back to his own tribe safely by himself he asks Dar to act as his guide. Needing little persuasion, Dar agrees to guide Tao back to his people and the two quickly become friends.
  • The tiger Dar had rescued previously, coming to his aid when he was lured into the bathhouse by the Sorceress and nearly killed in a fire. After that, the tiger, calling himself Ruh. Decides to stay with Dar and the others.
  • Dar and Kyra's reunion, though it's mixed with Tear Jerker as Kyra is guarded by magic that Dar cannot circumvent, and she forces him to leave her in order that he might free her later.
• During "Obsession", when Tao falls while climbing down the waterfall. Akile, the Terron warrior whom he had been distrusting of since they had met. Goes out of his way to catch Tao as he falls, Tao even proves grateful to Akile for the aid.
• Near the beginning of "The Island". Tao builds Dar a vegetable garden as a parting gift, since Tao is planning to make his way back to his people. While Dar is initially confused and even ungrateful of the gift (going so far as to outright destroy the garden, while complaining about humans destroying things). Tao had obviously put a lot of work into it, and his gratitude was sincere.
  • Just as Tao is about to throw away his ring.
  Dar: You're lucky you still have your jade ring.
  Tao: Maybe not. This thing almost got me killed. **goes to throw it away**
  Dar: No! Tao, roots are important.
  Tao: Even if they're not deep? It's been a long time since I've seen my tribe.
  Dar: Some of the greatest trees have shallow roots. They survive strong winds because they stand together. Their roots intertwine. You understand?
  Tao: ...yeah.
  Dar: Good.
• The beginning of "A Simple Truth", Dar protecting the wolf from Feno. This in turn leads the wolf and its pack to help Kyra once she escapes from the Terron camp.
• Near the end of "The Demon Curupira", as she watches Guariba explain to the rest of his tribe that they all need to better respect the balance of nature. Curupira can be seen watching from a distance, with a genuine and sincere smile on her face.
• Near the end of "The Guardian", after Ramah has been defeated. Tao's passionate plea with the guardian of the Rock of Life and Death that Ruh, who had just died to save the rock and Dar. Should have his life restored. Fortunately, he's eventually able to win her over and the Guardian restores Ruh to life.
• Near the end of "Gemini", the Sorceress takes pity on the twins. As they die, she uses her powers to place the pair in the sky as the new constellation of: Gemini.
• In "Revelations", Tao's parting gift to Dar and Kyra being a baby's crib.
  • In a surprising moment of empathy, both the Sorceress and even Zad feel pity for Kyra upon learning of her death.
• Episode 10 of season 2, "Gone". The new Sorceress proving herself to be compassionate. Not only in her empathy towards the animals that King Voden captures and abuses. But also, in helping Dar and Tao.
• Episode 15 of season 2, "Fifth Element". Again, the new Sorceress aids Dar and his friends. This time, by revealing Annubis weakness to Iara when she appears before her and pleads for help.
