Twilight Book I
- The scene where Kuro's contract emblem returns to normal. A little boy is watching Kuro practice in Hibiya Park when wraiths attack, and Kuro fights them. Just then, the heroine and Gaku show up to fight too, and the little boy is scared and says "they're monsters!" Even when the threat is gone, the boy is still scared of Kuro and the others, asking "what are you?" Gaku's response? "Kuro is Kuro." He goes on to explain that just because someone is different or can do things the little boy can't doesn't make them a monster. This is when the emblem is purified and the heroine sees a scene from Kuro's former life, where he tells the heroine's brother that he shouldn't be around a "monster" like him, only for the brother to embrace Kuro.
