• Once he gets over his initial shock and anger at seeing Aang again, the cabbage merchant agrees to let Aang and his Air Acolytes hold their ceremony in his restaurant.
• Satoru's uncle Loban actually reforms by the end of the story.
  • Even a few of the Rough Rhinos pull a Heel–Face Turn.
• Even after everything that's happened, Lady Tienhai is still a firm believer that Humans Are Special and that there is hope for the future.
• After cutting ties with him in The Promise, Aang finally reunites with Roku. Roku then tells Aang that he is Easily Forgiven and that Roku says that the Avatars of past can guide Aang with problems and issues that they too have faced...if they have experienced it themselves in their lifetimes. Should anything new come up or as if in the animated series, Aang wishes to find a new way none of them know, they're of no help to him.
