Heartwarming / Atlantis: Milo's Return

• After the Kraken is defeated, the inhabitants of the island can live in peace again, free from its grasp and Volgud's influence. Even Ingrid is relieved to know her baby will enjoy a childhood full of sunlight and one day, have a future.
• When Chakashi offers he'll let our heroes go free if they share a secret in exchange for his, they hesitate before they turn down the offer. Seemingly, they're about to share the same fate as Carnaby and be changed into dust coyotes. ...Except they aren't! Chakashi was testing them to see how well they could guard their own secret of Atlantis, especially because he knew their secret all along. If anything, he sees they are worthy secret keepers and trusts they will guard it well.
  • What's more, Chakashi telling Kida about how Atlantis touched the lives of his people reignites Kida's faith in Atlantis.
• At the end, Queen Kida uses the Spear of Destiny to raise Atlantis to the surface, surprising some fishermen who are quickly amazed at the sight. The last few lines from Whitmore are especially good to hear despite the Team Atlantis series not being picked up and provide a nice finish for the adventures of Milo and Crew.
  Whitmore: The world was never the same after that day. It was much better.
  • What's more, in terms of Fridge-Heartwarming the resurfacing of Atlantis means Milo's claims about the civilization's existence will be validated to the museum board who mocked him in the previous movie.
