Unmarked spoilers below.

  • In the World Premiere trailer:
    • One brief scene of a Viking play-fighting with his children.
    • Eivor and another Viking give a woman and her children a chance to escape a raid on their village, juxtaposed with King Aelfred claiming that the Vikings as a whole are murderously violent. Eivor even stops the other Viking from attacking them on-sight.
  • The player can pet their dog on command, and give them all the love in the process. Awwww. Same goes for house cats if those are more up your alley.
  • After collecting all the Magas Codex pages, Eivor can get a letter from Reda that was originally written by Bayek to Amunet in their later years during the reign of Augustus, the end of which has him declare that he'll always love her, to his very dying day.
  • After being absent the last two games, Shaun and Rebecca are back. Specifically, they're now Layla's support team - while the Altair II crew apparently did not take Victoria's death well, they know what it's like for one of their own to be killed by manipulations of Isu artifacts, and show her sympathy and compassion, even as Layla grapples with her guilt.
    • In the Codex entry on the Hidden Ones, Shaun mentions that his Hidden Ones Bureau is an office he shares with Rebecca... and they may convert it into a baby room if things go well.
  • The Saga of King Oswald of East Anglia. Yes, his engagement to to Valdis may have been purely political, and yes he is a (comparative) weakling next to his Danish in-laws to be; but after witnessing him refusing to back down in defending his fiance's honor against Reud in spite of his weakness, & granting the marauder Christian Mercy and Kindness after defeating him in rematch, Valdis and her Brothers come to geuinely love and respect him, as the strength of his character rivals that of the mightiest Viking warrior.
  • Shaun has passed Layla some audio files from their time in the temple, which feature both them and Desmond speaking. Heartwarming in both the recording of these casual moments between the old gang, but also that, eight years later both in-universe and out, they still have them.
    • Can double for some players as a Tearjerker when you realize that the first two recordings are from December 19th and December 20th. Considering this is only 2 and 1 days from the now-averted Second Catastrophe, respectively, one can assume that these are amongst the last conversations Shaun and Rebecca actually had with Desmond before he sacrificed himself.
  • The brief interactions at the very start of the game between Eivor and their parents really cements that this is a close and loving family. It just makes what happens next even more tragic.
  • Throughout the story, you can receive letters from each of the people you help throughout England. All of them vary in their contents, but the letter from Stowe and Erke is just lovely:
To Eivor of the Raven Clan,
Reeves Stowe and Erke cordially request your presence at the unveiling of New Lunden. Your presence is not needed, but would be warmly welcomed after all you have done for our fair city.
    With Love and Friendship,
    Reeves Stowe and Erke.
    (In smaller writing below)
    Hi Broga! :)
    Erke
  • When confronting Odin, Eivor was forced into the same choice their father was: keep fighting and let all that they love die, or literally let go of their pride and axe and instead run for the exit from the Valhalla simulation to save their brother. Eivor chooses the latter, while visions of Hytham, Sigurd, Randvi, Valka, the other residents of Ravensthorpe, and even Varin and Rosta all help them try to escape. By rejecting Odin's warmongering nature, Eivor finally understands the true bravery of giving up one's honor to protect that which one loves, and embraces Varin's spirit along with their mother's, finally forgiving and loving him as a father once more.
Odin: Leave me now and you are nothing! With me you have wisdom! Glory! Power! What more do you need!
    Eivor: Everything else.
  • After helping Haytham hunt down every last knight member of England's Order of Ancients, the young Assassin gratefully asks to Eivor once more to join the Hidden Ones, to which they respond:
Eivor: Was this your ultimate goal, Haytham? A trial by fire? It is a kind offer, but I do not believe we fight for quite the same cause. Your creed demands that you keep your triumphs hidden, I believe my glory to be in plain view, for all to see.
Haytham: If I taught you our creed, if you spent time with it, it could open your mind to another view.
Eivor: Another view is always welcome, but to live without celebrating one's glory and honor and achievements is not a life for me.
    • However, the Norse warrior graciously adds:
Eivor: But know this: I would give my life in a moment for those I love, and who love me in return, all here, including you, my friend.
    • In a heartening aversion of the "With us or against us" ideology that kept the tragic conflict of Assassin's Creed burning for eons, Haytham warmly concedes, and accepts Eivor's love in place of their membership.
  • If Basim/Loki sits by the fire at camp, after awhile, he see a vision of Eivor sitting across from him.
  • Most of the flyting world events are funny, but charming in how both parties are typically well aware that it's just light hearted fun. Then there's Augusta the Cheerful, who turns flyting into a competition of praising your opponent in rhyme. It is absolutely adorable.
  • During the Asgard Arc when Odin, who has been destined to die to a wolf and is a bit paranoid of wolves even forbids them from Asgard find out Fenrir who attacked him is Loki's son he spares him and has him leashed on an island. The real heartwarming part is when talking about it to Tyr he mentions he hopes it becomes a sanctuary for Wolves. Showing he could let go of his hatred of wolves.
