Heartwarming / Assassin's Creed Rogue

Go To

Even at its most bleak and cynical, Assassin's Creed Rogue is the story of a prodigy, whom although falls from grace due to tragic circumstances, is still fundamentally a kind and decent man.

  • You can get an achievement with Shay for petting five dogs.
  • After being mortally wounded by Shay, Hope comforts the grieving Templar by assuring him that the success of his assassination only meant that she has taught him well as a teacher, and that he is a student she can be proud of. Unlike Haytham Kenway's backhanded final compliments to Connor, the kindness and pride of these last words were quite genuine.
Hope: I trained you to do this; I expected nothing less. You had so much potential... Oh such a pity...
  • Straight after killing Liam, Shay barely stops Haytham from killing a helpless Achilles, and with this plea proves that in his warm and kind heart, he is still an Asssassin.
Shay: Achilles is harmless now. A mentor, with no followers. What kind of New World are we making if we cannot show mercy?
