"i mean, sheesh, kid, you're some kind of hero or something..."

Moment pages are Spoilers Off per site policy. You Have Been Warned.

  • Gaster being reunited with his sons after Sans pulls him out of the void, complete with hugs and tears.
"To the several others who sent questions about my well being, I am touched by your concern. But worry not. I feel better than I have in a very long time. -W.D. Gaster"
  • Askers cheering Sans on to fight off Chara's possession.
  • Flowey, of all people, managing to convince Hermann that she still has her Soul, and thus has a place with the family.
  • When Sans starts crying over the fact that he was having fantasy dreams about Toriel when she was unable to sleep due to the stress of the last arc (including memories of an erased Genocide run and Sans' last stand therein), the askers respond by screaming to wake up Papyrus and Sans' parents and alert Toriel that "Sans is Crying!" and all four immediately rush to his side. Papyrus is naturally the cutest:
Papyrus: Sans, don't cry! Papyrus is here now to carry your burdens!
  • Toriel blocking Goopster's blast at Flowey, having figured out he's her resurrected son all by herself. This also elicits an uncharacteristcally visceral response from Flowey by attacking Goopster in a blind rage, a major indicator that he's regaining his soul.
  • Toriel cheering Sans up from his Heroic BSoD after she realized the full burden of Sans being able to keep his memories of the previous resets. She not only gave the skeleton a You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech, she thanked him for everything he's done for her family while giving him a well deserved hug.
  • One asker, who was more than willing to hug Frisk, asked Sans to do it because they couldn't do it themself Sans' answer?
    "Way ahead of you."
  • When Frisk is worried that their birth parents might take them away if they were to find out that they're not dead, Toriel says that if anyone is going to take Frisk away, they'd have to go through her first.
  • Though it was a huge misunderstanding that lead to it: Aidrian was ready to fight MONSTERS, magical beings she never fought with powers she didn't understand, just to rescue her best friend. She treats Jason like he were her brother. And when you think about her Abusive Parents and how she thinks Frisk, her little sibling, is dead, you'd know that when Aidrian says that Jason is the only family she has left, she isn't kidding.
  • Aidrian and Jason finding out that Frisk is actually alive after thinking they were dead for over a year, with Jason freaking out and Aidrian crying tears of joy and hugging Frisk.
  • Flowey came a long way from being an Evil Flower when he gained just a tiny bit of his soul back. With that bit of his soul, he shows he cares for Frisk in his own way. Like when Flowey found out about Frisk's past, he promptly asks Frisk, with murderous intent written all over his face, where their parents lived. Obviously, Frisk didn't tell him.
  • Chiller attempting to cheer up Flowey. And when Chiller gains the ability to speak and gets called "creepy" by an asker, Flowey returns the favor (albeit by calling out the asker responsible).
  • When she sees a danger that Undyne doesn't, Alphys' first instinct is to put herself between her girlfriend and the threat, even though she's clearly terrified. Thankfully, it was only one of Undyne's mothers testing to see if she was worthy.
    • Immediately followed by Freja giving Alphys her blessing and Alphys revealing she was planning to ask Undyne to marry her.
  • When Maverick is driven to tears after thinking back to what happened in his dimension, Frisk gives him a hug. Sweet on its own, but then you remember the hug Frisk can give Asriel at the end of Undertale — and given this Frisk's disposition, they almost certainly did so.
  • After a lot of time and effort from the Askers to get things moving, Toriel and Sans are going on a date.
  • One example is halfway between this and Tear Jerker. When the Askers maneuver Chara into hugging Flowey, it is revealed that the rest of Asriel's soul, all of it except for the tiny speck Flowey has managed to grow back, is still sticking to Chara's soul. During the hug, Asriel's soul starts to reform from the two parts, with Flowey beginning to change back into Asriel. But Asriel pulls away. He realizes that the rest of his soul is still with Chara, and even though he wants it back, he can't bear to take it if it means leaving his best friend completely alone. Asriel is willing to continue through his personal hell of being Flowey because he hopes it might give his sibling just a little bit of comfort.
  • Frisk's insistence on having Callallied over—even ignoring that the latter is almost certainly Chara, Frisk will have none of their friend living alone in the bushes.
  • When Toriel is on the verge of taking Skyrim away, Frisk tells a story to prove that the game is good for Flowey. A few days prior, Flowey did the quest "A Daedra's Best Friend," in the process getting attached to the dog he's trying to help. When he is ultimately given the choice to kill the dog and receive a powerful axe, he refuses.
  • When Janet realizes that she deadnamed and misgendered Frisk, she immediately gets remorseful and apologizes for what she did.
    • According to Frisk, they forgave her because they realized she didn't know any better and had been given misinformation by their biological mother.
  • Asgore detailing how, not long after the emergence from Mt. Ebott, he turned himself in for killing the six children. After the judge let him go, he was confronted by an old woman—the grandmother of Danny, the soul of kindness—who decided to not pursue punishment herself because that's not what Danny would do. She then asked that Asgore not let history forget any of the fallen humans, which is implied to tie in to the memorial plaque in the Journey Into Mt. Ebott ride.
  • Undyne and Alphys get to have a cute Ferris Wheel Date Moment at Monsterland, which becomes even cuter when Alphys proposes.
  • Frisk's You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech to Chara when they really needed it. What makes it even more heartwarming is that it made enough of an emotional impact on Chara to trigger the bonding process' final transformation.
  • Asriel and Chara's reconciliation in the mindscape was nothing short of heartwarming.
  • Remember that painting back in Temmie Village of a Tem riding a dragon? According to Word of God, that dragon, Raphael Everburn the Unquenchable, went around in the war letting smaller monsters that were surrounded by human armies ride on him and to safety. Among them where the ancestors of the Temmie race. They never forgot his kindness.
  • Word of God reveals that the "Shadow Rogue" part of Maverick's name was from his Chara's codename: Shadow Rogue in honor of his Chara.
