    One-Shot
  • Peggy still has the picture of pre-serum Steve taken at Boot Camp in her desk.
  • Howard Stark asking Peggy to help him run S.H.I.E.L.D. Despite the earlier flirting from Stark, the two appear to still be good friends.

Season One:

    Now is Not the End
  • Howard and Peggy's reunion and farewell hug. Both might be quite charismatic, but don't have a lot of true friends- it's very sweet to see their genuine friendship and respect for each other. And although he might flirt with her playfully, Peggy really is the one woman Howard truly respects and admires (and he's the one man who realizes her value).
  • Agent Sousa defending Peggy. At the least, he recognizes their Birds of a Feather nature (both came out of the war with less respect from their colleagues), and it's also quite possible that he has a little crush on her.
  • Peggy's friendship with her roommate Colleen. They tease each other, worry for the other's well-being and seem to be very close overall. Which makes it so much more heartbreaking when the latter is killed.
  • Jarvis comforting Peggy and assuring her of her worth when she is full of self-doubt due to the above:
Jarvis: You are a credit to your profession. If the men in your office can’t see that, then they’re fools. You were trying to do something good, and I believe you accomplished it.

    Bridge and Tunnel
  • Jarvis point-blank refuses to let Peggy go it alone, patches her up after their mission, and reminds her that she doesn't have to be alone.
Jarvis: Your desire to help others is noble. But I doubt you'll find much success unless you allow others to help you.
    • In the same conversation, he gently reminds Peggy that Steve may have been Captain America, but that she was his support and his guidance through it all. Even better, Howard told him that — it was apparently commonly acknowledged that she was crucial to everything Cap and his team did.
  • Angie's delight in finally convincing Peggy to move into her building, not to mention enthusiastically helping her find a place even though they barely know each other.

    Time and Tide
  • After Ray's murder, Peggy goes to Angie for support.
    • And although Angie was upset with Peggy rejecting her company earlier in the episode, she immediately forgets about that and focuses on comforting Peggy.
  • During the war, Jarvis risked execution for treason to get his Jewish wife to safety in America.
    • By extension we learn the reason he wasn't executed was because Howard Stark intervened. There's a reason why Jarvis is so loyal to Stark.
    • When Peggy realizes that "[Anna] was Jewish", Jarvis answers "Still is, I'm happy to say." He doesn't just tolerate his wife's ethnoreligious identity, he embraces it. This post goes into detail.

    The Iron Ceiling
  • Carter with her old friends, the Howling Commandos, again. It's very refreshing to see Peggy with people who connect with her immediately and deeply respect her without reservation, especially in contrast to Thompson who is also along for the ride.
  • Dum Dum and Peggy in the truck:
    • Peggy gives Dum Dum a bottle of Jack Daniels' whiskey, from her own personal stash no less.
    • And this exchange:
Dugan: (after Carter throws away his cigar) Hey!
    Carter: You smell bad enough.
Dugan: And you used to be fun.
Carter: Yeah, once upon a time. (sighs)
Dugan: Yeah, I know. I miss him, too.
  • Thompson gives credit to Peggy for finding Leviathan intel, only for her to give Thompson credit as well. Also, Thompson inviting Carter to join the rest of the team for drinks. The man is an undeniable Jerkass, but at least he knows when credit is due.
  • Dooley tells Peggy she did a nice job. Took him long enough.

    A Sin to Err
  • Angie the struggling actress—emphasis on "struggling"—receiving praise for performing a monologue from Peggy and an elderly woman.
  • Even though Peggy is being pursued by federal agents, Angie still trusts Peggy and helps her escape. She doesn't even press Peggy to tell her what's going on. She just helps her because she has complete faith in Peggy.
  • The goodbye scene between Peggy and Angie:
    Peggy: You're an amazing actress.
Angie: You're not so bad yourself. (hugs Peggy) Well, I look forward to hearing what this is about someday.
Peggy: Someday. Take care of yourself, Angie.
    Angie: You too, English.

    SNAFU
  • The flashback at the beginning, where Dr. Ivchenko/Fennhoff uses his hypnotic abilities to mentally anesthetize a man for surgery, showing a human side of the doctor before he later became the monster we all know and hate.
  • Peggy promising Dooley that the SSR will get payback on Leviathan before his Heroic Sacrifice. And note that he specifically wanted to hear it from her, showing that in the end he knew who his most valuable agent was.
    • Later Peggy is blaming herself when Jarvis comforts her and saying it's not her fault, it's "Howard's bloody inventions."
  • The fact Jarvis was willing to forge a signed confession to help Peggy.
  • Both Sousa and Thompson telling each other that they believe Peggy after she informs them about Dottie.
    • Also, Thompson telling Sousa to be careful if he confronts Dottie.

    Valediction
  • Howard's joy at finding Captain America, even if it's all just an illusion by Fennhoff, which includes him seeing Peggy asking him to "Bring him home".
  • Jarvis has two wonderful moments in this episode. First, he shows himself willing to jump back into a plane and stand at the ready to shoot Howard's plane down if Howard gets too close to Manhattan with the gas canisters, even though, as he tells Thompson, he's never killed anyone before. Second, he returns the vial of Steve's blood to its rightful owner - Peggy Carter - and tells her that he's lied to Howard about its whereabouts. As he tells Peggy, he owes Howard a great deal, but he realizes now that there are some things Howard Stark shouldn't have.
  • Peggy walking into the office after Fennhoff's capture and getting applauded by her colleagues.
  • Peggy and Angie moving in together, especially heartwarming after what happened to Peggy's last roommate. Angie is absolutely delighted at how big and fancy the house is.
  • Sousa finally got up the nerve to ask Peggy out on a date.
  • Sousa getting angry at Jack for taking Peggy's credit for all that's happened and about to go and tell the truth until Peggy told him it didn't matter to her.
    • At the beginning of the series, Jack would've taken the credit with a smile and some bragging. Now he just looks uncomfortable. He's getting there...
  • Look closely at Sousa when he (along with Thompson and Peggy) investigate the theater. He sees a stroller, and immediately hurries over to it. In other words, Sousa thought a baby might have been injured and wanted to see if the supposed baby was okay.
  • Kind of a fast one, but when Howard sees how hard it is for Sousa to walk, he makes a sincere offer to help him.

Season Two:

     The Lady in the Lake
  • In a weird way, the Agents behind the mirror when Peggy is interrogating Dottie. They compare the whole process to a boxing match with one of them even declaring 'if anyone can break Dottie Underwood, its Carter'. Shows just how far they've come and how much they've come to respect her abilities as an agent.

    A View in the Dark
  • Ana walks in on Peggy and Jarvis on top of each other while sparing. Is there even a hint of jealousy? Hell no. Rather, Ana is her husband's regular judo combatant, further proving the Jarvises are the epitome of Happily Married.
  • After the explosion at Isodine, Jarvis comes up to Peggy. She's clearly in shock at Jason Wilkes's apparent death and can barely ask him for a lift. His response is to help her into a car and make sure she's alright.
  • Violet being revealed to know all about Sousa being an SSR agent, and she's 100% supportive of it. Being a nurse, she knows that work will often have to come between their personal lives. But she's still proud nonetheless.
"My boyfriend beats up bad guys."
  • Peggy is trying to pretend that she can't be sad about Jason Wilkes's supposed death because she barely knew him. Ana relates that her husband had only known her for a few weeks before he deserted his post in the army all to save her from being persecuted for being Jewish.
Ana: "It doesn't take long to realise you met someone special."

    Better Angels
  • The look on Peggy's face when she and Howard discover that Jason Wilkes is alive. After losing so much in the war and Colleen being murdered in season 1, you can tell how grateful Peggy is in that moment to get someone whom she thought she lost back.

    Smoke & Mirrors
  • Peggy as a little girl in the flashback is really really cute, pretending to slay a dragon.
  • Sousa insists to Peggy he's with her at the SSR regardless of what the Council and Vernon do to them.
  • A very young Agnes Scully/Whitney Frost repaired a broken radio because she believed it upset her mom, who complained about how it was broken for weeks. Sadly, her mom apparently doesn't really care as Agnes initially believed. Nevertheless, Agnes/Whitney still keeps the radio as she grows into adulthood.
  • A brief moment in a flashback to Depression-era Hollywood (1934). A broke Whitney Frost is standing outside the movie theater, wanting to go see a picture. A kindly ticket manager offers her a free movie ticket so she can take her mind off her troubles for a couple of hours. As Whitney walks in, she meets a talent agent who helps her become a star.
  • Peggy's relationship with her older brother Michael. He's actually the one who volunteered her to join the War effort through the SOE and encourages her to be who she is in spite of everyone trying to make her "a lady". After his death, Peggy is convinced to leave her misogynistic fiancé and join the War in his honor. If it wasn't for Michael, Peggy probably would've never became the woman she is known for.
    • She also would've probably never met Steve Rogers, a man who loves Peggy for who she is and wouldn't change anything about her.

    The Atomic Job
  • After Violet and Sousa save Peggy's life and she's safely tucked into bed to recover, Jarvis has this touching line:
Jarvis: You've done your duty. Get some rest, butler's orders . . . You know, these adventures? They're only enjoyable if you return from them, Miss Carter.
    • Violet, despite catching on to Sousa's feelings for Peggy, shows no ill will towards her personally and instead gets right to work at treating her wounds. She does break up with Sousa offscreen, but that's entirely understandable; "he's in love with someone else" is a perfectly reasonable explanation for breaking off an engagement. Even after Violet does this, she is clearly more angry with Daniel for lying to himself, and by extension her, as opposed to being angry at Peggy for coming between them.

    Life of the Party
  • He may have the wrong motive and may be on the wrong side, but Thompson is nevertheless uncomfortable with the idea of killing Peggy or destroying her reputation, so he makes one final push to convince Peggy to drop her crusade against Whitney and go back to New York.

    The Edge of Mystery
  • Jarvis is so terrified that Ana won't recover from her surgery, that he makes a list of all the little things he will do to make her happy, e.g. cooking her favourite apple torte and getting a dog she wants. Then Ana wakes up, nothing short of miraculously.
  • Jarvis when he asks Rose to take care of Ana when he is going off on the mission to stop Frost. At first she's confused on why he's giving her such detailed directions, then she realizes when he shows her his will, that he doesn't expect to come back and that he's asking Rose to take care of his wife after his death. All Rose can do in response is to hug him and vow to protect Ana no matter what.
  • Manfredi surprisingly gets one when he tells Whitney not to be ashamed of the Zero Matter mark on her face, saying it's a sign of her power, which is what makes her truly beautiful.
  • This is more Heartwarming in Hindsight due to this show taking place before the first Iron Man film. It is revealed Ana and Jarvis cannot have any children due to Ana's gunshot injuries. Devastating as this is, it could also be a deeper explanation for Jarvis's relationship with his employer's son, Tony. Tony implies multiple times he had a close bond with Jarvis before his death, even names his AI after him. A son without a father (at least one that's really around for him) and a father that cannot have a child form a father/son bond all their own.

    A Little Song and Dance
  • Peggy seeing her brother again. Peggy says she still misses him and Michael states he would be there every step of the way if he could, showing he's still supportive of her doing what she wants and was meant to do.
  • Even though they've just had a blazing argument, the second Peggy hears that Ana will not be able to have children, she forgets it instantly and forgives Jarvis.

    Hollywood Ending
  • Jarvis' eagerness to chauffeur Peggy to the airport.
  • Peggy and Sousa finally sharing a kiss - a very passionate one at that - after two seasons of Will They or Won't They?.
