Heartwarming / A Crime To Remember

• Despite it being a heavy episode and after knowing their fates, the sight of Judge Curtis Chillingsworth asking his "best girl" (his wife) to dance in their home was a sweet moment.
• The last shot of the roommate of (soon to be murdered) Emily Hoffert and Janice Wylie chit chatting about upcoming plans with her roomies before the day begins as the roommate talked about how her two friends were both beautiful young women with their lives ahead of them.
• Though a Downer Ending, one of the children who lived in the same building as Kitty Genovese (now a grown man) remembers his mother coming to comfort a dying and crying Kitty in her very last minutes of life. Despite the case being one about how indifferent people are to the danger confronting their neighbors, it was nice to see someone care for Kitty.
• Paul Pervelar's first wife and a man he manipulated find love with one another and get married, it was especially nice to see her find happiness after dealing with the Domestic Abuse and attempted murder hashed out to her by Paul.
• "The Gentleman Killer" narration states that no matter who you are and what you are suffering, while it may never stop hurting...You Are Not Alone while passing over the rape victims who've survived the crimes of the killer. One of them is standing alone in the police station when the husband of the one woman he murdered comes up and offers her his arm to walk her out, and then others come to join them and comfort her.
