- The very first minute of the movie has a dedication to firefighters worldwide, all for their service in helping and saving others. It's something that some can feel is a greatly underappreciated service, and having such an expression of gratitude is rather hard to come by.
- Dusty, having never been to Piston Peak National Park, helps an elderly couple find the place where they shared their first kiss and then buys them drinks to celebrate with them. He is given a solid reminder of just what his new job really is: to serve the vehicles around him.
- After Dusty admits his engine issue to Blade, instead of asking him why he didn't tell him about this sooner, Blade somberly looks at him, gives Dusty a moment for himself, and gives him encouragement to not give up just yet.
- When Dusty crashed after the film climax, the entire Piston Peak Air Attack team was shown to be worried of Dusty's fate. And when he made a full recovery, the Air Attack team and the Piston Peak National Park staff were there to celebrate him.
- At the end, after Maru builds a "better than new" custom gearbox for Dusty, the former crop duster and current racer not only gets his firefighting certification but is also able to push his engine so he can achieve his racing speed again!
