  • Betsy Palmer got a couple of these moments, like when her first boss was a contestant or the twins that played her infant son in her first movie were.
  • December 5, 1956: Guest Art Linkletter lamented the fact that "Good Old" Bill Cullen was always left out of secrets involving activities done outside the show note  and set out to right that wrong by asking the audience to give anything they didn't need to Bill as a token of appreciation. Garry Moore concluded the program by asking viewers to send whatever old junk they had lying around to "Good Old Bill". By the next week's program, 148,000 packages had been sent to "Good Old Bill". While the whole thing was very much tongue-in-cheek, Bill was genuinely touched by this show of appreciation from the viewers.
