Headscratchers / World's End Club

Go To

  • How come some of the characterisations here are so different here as opposed to how they where when the game was first announced as Death March Club? Pochi was described as struggling to interact with anyone besides Reycho, but in the actual game he talks with everyone just fine. Nyoro’s love for fashion and Pai’s airhead sleepiness are also not brought up at any point.
    • Things change in development. Either it didn't work out, or they ended up changing their mind for one reason or another.
  • Couldn’t the Go Getters Club use a working car to get back to Tokyo instead of walking? Pochi is known to have a bit of an experience with cars thanks to his game.
  • Was Master and the rest of the MAIK cult actually brainwashed? Why are they able to go out into the sun without being cured of their brainwashing?
    • The nanomachines don't brainwash, they suppress emotions. The cultists have emotions but are under MAIK's control. Presumably a similar hypnosis method to the one the Master used on the club members who stayed behind.
  • How did Reycho and Pochi not get revealed as robots during the hot springs part?
    • No doubt they made sure to give the robots the proper parts so that their external appearance is undistinguishable from a normal human. Also, only Reycho went to the Oita hot springs, so Pochi didn't have to worry about bringing the controller into the bath.
  • How are the Go Getters Club not ALL hungry after that long walk from Kogoshima to Fukuoka and Otia respectively? I don’t think any of them had eaten in days. (Possibly even a week.)
    • We see them preparing food in several camp scenes throughout the game, including stuff like fish, which they presumably caught. It's probably a similar deal here, just off screen.
