Having children
- If Salem already had children with Ozma, why was she surprised when Sapphire was born?
- Canon Marches On. This fic was created long before Volume 6 revealed Salem's backstory.
- I get that, but it would have made more sense just to leave them out of the fic altogether than to have them added in and create the plot hole
- For a more Watsonian example, maybe Salem and Ozma assumed that the only reason they were able to have children was because they were both magical. The Arc children came out very differently than Ozma's children, after all, so clearly having children with a non-magical human doesn't operate on the same principles.
