- Why did Bea have the gun sent to Liz's halfway house? Doesn't the simple fact that she had access to it mean she...well, had access to it? Surely there could have been a drop point arranged that didn't endanger a friend's chance to get a new lease on life?
- Rule of Drama , for one. It would have been boring if after her release, Liz just went and lived her life, and the writers needed a way to keep her on the show. In-universe, well, people who are planning to murder someone aren't maybe in the most stable frame of mind, considering long-term consequences. Maybe it was the only address Bea could think of that would not be traced back to her, but she could still locate quickly.
