Headscratchers / Twitch Plays Pokémon Crystal Anniversary

• This may be a confusing thing to a lot of people.. The Season 3 introduction is a romhack called "Pokemon Crystal Aniversary" (Or "Pokemon Crystal 251") but, the game is set in Kanto, and our character seems to be Red! (Or Evan ingame.) So why is it called Pokemon Crystal Aniversary if it has nothing to do with Pokemon Crystal, and that everyone in Kanto hadn't mentioned anything about the country? Even the game has no Johto Pokemon! There is no answers so far, so we don't know why it is called Pokemon Crystal Aniversary.
  • New evidence is here! After we beat our rival and "rubbed" the captain, he tells us he was going to take us to Olivine City, which is a Johto City. So there is proof that we are going to Johto, and that Johto exists! So this ALSO means this is a brand new storyline, Which I think is really impressive!

• Why is Kenya a Noctowl? I understand it was one of the things that was changed in the ROM hack, but what's the significance of Noctowl? Does it have some connection to Groudon or something?
  • It is likely a reference to Harry Potter where owls are commonly used to deliver the mail
