    Shockwave corrupting the Allspark
  • Why would Shockwave - cold, calculating, logical Shockwave - go along with a plan, that involves sacrificing himself to corrupt the Allspark!? An act that would destroy Cybertron and render, all life on it extinct just so Megatron can spite Optimus!? This is the furthest thing imo from what Shockwave, a mostly logical if mean-spirited being would do!
    • Well, Shockwave in various continuities has pulled off weird things in terms of logic such as his (thwarted) millions of years plan in the original IDW comics or when he willingly teamed up with the unbrainwashed Autobots, Decepticons and Ponies in the second MLP/Transformers miniseries. Plus, in Shockwave's first appearance in this cartoon, he tried to implant false memories of Bumblebee being a Decepticon mole into the Autobot scout's head via hijacked Cortical Psychic Patch, only failing because he tried to cast Optimus Prime as a Decepticon mole too.
    • Trying to brainwash someone at least presents a tactical advantage! Causing a Planet-scale Class 3 Apocalypse How accomplishes nothing! Shockwave doesn't do non-accomplishment!

    Croaton
  • Did Croaton even think about just talking to the Autobots through Windblade, before having her steal the Allspark to heal himself? Was having her do so while fighting her own comrades and friends, really the only way for him to evade death!?
    • It seems that he was in a lot of pain and needed the Allspark as fast as possible.

    Quintessons and their "Judges"
  • Who do the Quintessons think they are teaching their "Judges," to declare every Universe and people, guilty and never innocent!? That's not how trial works, ever! And then they have the gall to just wipe the accused from existence entirely! Someone needs to bring an Apocalypse down on them, for playing God like this!
    • Thats pretty much in line with how they acted back in Gen 1: they know the difference between right and wrong, and they know that many of the species they judge are probably perfectly innocent. But they kill and destroy anyway because they're sadistic and evil, and they hold mock trials (never really intending to give the victims a fair chance) because it amuses them. This time its just on a multiversal scale.

What year does the 'modern' era take place
  • The episode Wild Wild Wheel has an embittered former Autobot named Wild Wheel lash out at Optimus for not trying to find him. But he woke up in the 1800's and Optimus only woke up in the modern era. He also admits to being on thousands of other worlds. How the heck were they supposed to find him if he was bouncing around all the time on different planets, and the people he blames for not looking for him wouldn't be awake for over a century? Granted, bitterness is not necessarily rational.
    • Two words: Bad. Writing.
    • And besides, "character blames someone for not finding them even if said person didn't know where the person was" is something that's been done dozens of times.
