While many fans were happy that Lena genuinely offered condolences to Kara, it is out of character. Since season 4, Lena has hated Kara, believed that she never trusted her and only refers to her as Supergirl. She was last scene ignoring Kara's warning not to continue with Non Nocere, so it doesnt make sense that she turns up and sincere with Kara and offering help on dealing with grief.
- How is that out of character? She was hurt by being called a villain, there was clearly some mutual unease between them,and Lena isn't the callous monster Lex is.
- Lena lost her mother and her adoptive/later revealed biological father. The later of which, Kara has lost with Jeremiah. Would Lena really wish that kind of grief out on anyone else?
