  • Why is Quark so entranced by having two imaginary floozies following him around? He owns Holo-Suites, which are explicitly stated to be used primarily for sex, so he has more opportunities to bang floozies than anyone on the station. Shouldn't he be dreaming of riches, since that's what he's shown to be primarily concerned with?
    • Quark is a lot less concerned about money than he makes out, it is clear throughout the series that what he actually craves is validation and attention (possibly because of his screwed up upbringing, thanks Moogy). It makes sense that his wish would really be for people to show him that attention, adoration, and validation, that he really craves.
  • Sisko states that Buck Bokai was the greatest baseball player ever. However, it's also established that he played in the very final years of professional baseball, when interest had shrunk down to almost nothing. Wouldn't that mean that the talent pool for baseball players would also have shrunk to almost nothing? Buck Bokai would have been playing against a skeleton crew of opposition, which would make it very difficult to gauge his relative skills against players from eras where pinnacle-grade athletes were the norm. If Bokai really was the best ever while playing in an era of scrubs, he would have been absurdly dominant during his career. You'd think Bokai would describe himself a bit different if so.
    • An earlier line in the episode implies that Sisko composes his holosuite games with many great players- if Bokai was able to beat them, there's some truth to him being the best ever.
