  • In Protoss level, "Homeland", Tassadar offers to turn himself in, even though his side is winning the battle, to prevent further bloodshed. Why, then, is the very next level's mission to rescue him? The battle to do this causes a lot more bloodshed than Tassadar prevented by surrendering. One could put it down to Raynor and Zeratul disagreeing with Tassadar's decision, but Tassadar thanks you after you save him.
    • Fenix remarks that Zeratul and the Dark Templar abandoned them after Tassadar surrendered, and openly questions their loyalty. If they were only loyal to Tassadar, then Fenix can't order them to help carry out the plan to assassinate the cerebrates. Thus he has to go against Tassadar's express wishes to fulfill his plan.
    • Tassadar surrendering was an impulsive and emotional decision that the rest of his faction likely didn't agree with. Fenix and Zeratul are more practical in their mindsets and likely recognized that surrendering meant falling to the zerg. Tassadar likely realized this himself once the moment had passed and he'd had time to think about what he'd done.
